I don't have the original files anymore, the reason why it stops is because when I made it (and well to this date) I don't know how to cleanly loop effects/sound inside of after effects.

is there a version where the rain doesnt stop for that short second at the end of the video

@ダパール-003 However, a sudden stop is even more strange,At least this is more comfortable.

If you'd cut out the section where the rain stops falling down and back to where it starts again you'd get a wierd and in my case iritating effect that the rain jumps from one place to antother. since all the rain particals are randomly generated you can't just cut it and make it loop perfectly. You'd need to change the internal numbers of the generated particals, which at the time, I didn't know how to do. And I've lost the original files so I can't re-do it.

@ダパール-003 The shortcomings of the video are that there are intervals.The suggestion is to cut off the video from the beginning to the interval by using the video cutting software. Then let it loop.

@li a Hey there, back when I created this I didn't know how to correctly loop such an effect. I'm still quite new to AfterEffects and it's still kinda difficult to get it right.

The video file is just a meaningless repetition of a paragraph, why not connect a small part let him cycle it.

@nina, sorry this was my 2nd ever wallpaper. I still don't know how to make it loop properly in Aftereffects. Glad you like it however!

The stoping of the rain is for the loop, as it's imposible to make a perfect loop with the rain still falling. if the rain kept going it'd just cut and look worse than it does now. Sorry

Also, I have no expirence with after effects, however if your problem is there being a second of no sound at the very start of your audio file. Then you can probably use an online video/audio cut took. To snip of the very start. Idk tho :/ just a suggestion.

Ok that's fine :^) What about the visual effects? Like I said there is a pause in the rain then it starts back up.

Thanks! Honistly the sound was a last ditch efford, I didn't want it but a friend of mine confinsed me to add it. and with the filetypes suported by aftereffects I couldn't get a proper audio loop together. I'm running Wallpaper engine without sound. Sorry :(

Hey, this is awesome! Love it, the rain is very calming when I am taking breaks for games and just looking at my desktop :^). My only criticism (friendly suggestion of course) is that you make the startup and the end fit together better. When the desktop loops to the beginning the sound and the rain effect stops for a second then starts back up. It's quite abrupt :^( Other that than it is pretty awesome!
