Is it possible to give ADVENT multiple grenade types so we can enjoy the chaos of ADVENT's inability to tell which grenade to use?

It really would. Unfortunately, smoke grenades and other grenades aren't differentiated within the ai code for xcom, and I think it would end up with officers throwing frags at allies or throwing smoke at xcom.

It might be neat if there was some sort of "smog" grenade counterpart for smoke, that reduced the accuracy of everyone within it, and prevented grenade throwing.

Long war already gives flashbangs to advent units (at least in early game), and I wouldn't really want to mess that balance up too much.
