I absolutely LOVE this setup for breezehome, but each time I close and reopen skyrim, it reverts to the original cluttered basement before all of the upgrades. I noticed this after I was trying the dawnguard fix to get the alchemy table, which also didn't work on my end. I absolutely love this mod, its the best breezehome one I've found so I'd really love to be able to actually play with it, any idea how to fix this?

Would have loved to have seen this ported to SSE. This was my favorite breezehome mod by far.

also the weapons rack in the basement displays my staves upside down

hey if the mannequins are in a weird pose how do i fix it

For those who have problems with enabling the alchemist table in the basement (without the dragonborn uncompatible patch) theirs a solution simular to fixing the a. table in base room.
Hope you dont bother using console commands (~):
prid XX00884E (XX for whiterun-basement in load order prefix)
disable (just to be sure)
enable
For the base alchemy table you have to disable e4ef9 and enable e4ec8.
User discretion is advised, pls dont fiddle too much. GL Have Fun.

The options aren't coming up..? The steward doesn't offer the new rooms.

ONe issue that keeps cropping up. The mannequins just wont stop wandering. Virtually every time I come into the house they take a stroll and I have to go activvate them and put something on them to move them back. But the very next time I come in, off they go again. Is there a way to permanently fix this?

When you adopt a kid for breezehome the alchemy room is converted to a kids room (hearthfire dlc pack), that is the reason I added an alchemy table to the basement.

A mod that alters the floor in the first floor of breezehome will remove the entrance to the basement, if the modder for that created that mod is able to arrange the floor to have that entrance, then it wil be possible to use both mods.

Glad you liked my mod, it's great to know that after more than 2 years people still enjoy it :)

Hands down I like this basement mod more than any other Breezehome mod so far. The only thing I would like is if I could kind of combine this with another mod that changes the main floor a bit. I like the one that takes out the firepit and replaces it with a fireplace on the side of the room to open up the floor a bit. But I am going to use this mod from now on. Double thumbs up. One thing though I noticed by accident. I was buying the upgrade and my mouse accidentally selected switching the kids room to an alchemy station, and there was never an option to change it back. Not sure if that was an issue with your mod or the main game.

Is there a console code or some kind of fix for when I buy the alchemy table for the basement, the steward takes my money but the table never appears? If you have a solution, other players might like the fix. It didn't really matter to me because that corner is very tight when the housecarl and my follower get in there. It should have been wide enough for two people to meet without squeezing. Maybe 4 feet wider and the basement would still be under the house on the street side.

Edit for my last comment.

I forced enabled the Alchemy Table via console after finding its formID (88E4) and the mod's hex loading order. It worked and, as I already had paid for the table, there was no bad feeling about cheating...

Just on a side note... Sc*** You Proventus... I'm the Dragonborn and I do as I please!

I had the problem with the Alchemy Table. I tried disabling Dawnguard but it crashes my game after the Bethesda Logo... I disabled all my mods AND the Dawnguard but this one and it didn't work either... no mod to fix this worked either (neither those from here or the Nexus site)... Is there any other suggestion to fix this?

Perfect addition. Everything you need without becoming too much. No perfomance issues, no load screen to get to your crafting room. Storage exactly where you want/need it. Balanced integration with the things you can already purchase for Breezehome, so getting the house you want doesn't have to completely break your immersion. I'd say this is the best housing solution I've seen

I don't get the option about the Children's Room with this mod :whiterun:

Hey I had to come back and report a bug which I wouldn't have found if I hadn't broken my Skyrim for the 3rd time & go back down 20 levels. When i use this mod and make a new game or load one where I haven't bought/upgraded my houses I don't get the dialogue options until I deactivate the mod. Also, I couldn't send adopted children anywhere but my Hearthfire house in the Pale. When I loaded a game before the mod was active it was all fine again. When I started using this mod I had already built all the houses and had a family living near Falkreath.

Looking at the first outside picture, would there be any issues with using this mod and beautiful whiterun? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12110/?

This mod was created before dawnguard so you can use it with no problems.
Dec 29, 2013 @ 8:11pm
do i need the mods to run this or can iget away with not having the heartfire and dawngard to run it?

It should work since both stewards use the same script
Oct 17, 2013 @ 2:08pm
Do it work with Brill? He is whiterun Steward

thank you very much.

ok
Aug 29, 2013 @ 2:28pm
I'll give it a shot and let you know. Honestly can't say it was the 'newest' update; it had been a while since I loaded up Skyrim, so really just sometime since the last DLC came out.

Try loading my addon as last in the list.

I haven't touched the manequins. have you tried reloading the room? Going out and in of the house?
Aug 24, 2013 @ 12:04pm
Newest update moved the manequins and made them unaccessable... I had sweet armor on those things! :D:

Dark_Storm_001

I looked into the mod and nothing was wrong, so I don't know what could be causing the option not to show.

The alchemy table is just next to the enchanting table like on the last picture.

DAWNGUARD - Alchemy Laboratory Bug
There is a bug in Dawnguard that prevents you from buying the Alchemist decoration, you pay for it, but doesn't upgrade, this is related to the expansion and not my mod. In order to fix this you will need to uncheck the Dawnguard from the data files before starting the game, purchase the decoration and restart the game with Dawnguard checked again.

If that doesn't work try this fix by Griffinsong:
This mod fixes the alchemy laboratory purchase bug caused by Dawnguard.

I had to re-install the game after un-subscribing the mod. The vanilla alchemy would not load even after buying it.

No more options for decorating my home - just comes up with the "I changed my mind" :/

All I have in the basement is the manikins, forge and the enchanters table + the tables and benches.

Should be active at all times

That is if you take the lab upstairs right? I bought the child's bedroom lol :P

I already added an alchemy table next to the enchanting table. Costs 500 gold :)
Aug 17, 2013 @ 1:20pm
Last message I hope: it's all sorted - your mod, then the unofficial patches being the last mods to load = able to get the basement etc and buy the childrens bedroom.

If you are still working on this mod how hard would it be to make the basement a bit bigger and add an alchemy station? This is a serious question, I'm not into making stuff etc myself, wouldn't know where to start :)
Aug 17, 2013 @ 1:13pm
SkyUI now sorted. Only problem with moving your mod down the list to after the fixes is that you can no longer buy the childrens bedroom. Don't know about others but I actually like adopting the little beggers :P

Going to try moving this mod and the fixes to the end of my load list and see what happens.. Sorry for all these messages :( :)
Aug 17, 2013 @ 12:57pm
Yes moving it down the list seems to have sorted it :) however now the SkyUI isn't working right lol..
Aug 17, 2013 @ 12:10pm
Yeah I tried it from the main hall straight after buying home.. Will try changing the order the mods load up in and see if that does anything.. Then if it doesn't will try deactivating the "fixes"

The dialogue only shows when the steward is in the main hall of dragonreach, if he is in the back room the game don't have the buying options.

If that isn't the problem then try to load my mod after the unofficial fixes.

If that doesn't fix then you can temporaril deactivate the unofficial fixes mod buy the upgrades and then reactivate.
Aug 17, 2013 @ 8:28am
Hi not sure if it is because I have the unofficial fixes from the workshop but I can't access this mod anymore.. The stairs lead down to the unpurchased space but I can't get the dialogue to buy it.

At the time I wasn't able to fit the garden as i was hoping, i will try to improve in a future review, been a while since i done anything with this mod :)
Aug 10, 2013 @ 12:14am
The mod great. Subtle and not to much, however the "Garden" leaves a bit to desired. The expectatin was something similar to the hearthfire gardens. The choping block area would be a excellent garden.

i see. thank you for getting back with me on that.

The problem with the smelter is the size, I did some testing when I was making this mod, and the size was a bit messy and since there is a blacksmith next door with a smelter I decided not to add one.
