Whiterun Breezehome - Basement Workshop

A mod that increases Breezehome with a basement customized as a workshop for your blacksmith and enchanting needs.This room comes empty and requires you to purchase the required decorations from the Whiterun steward. After that you will have access to:

Basement (2000 gold)
- 2x mannequins for armor display
- 7x weapon rack plaques
- 1x weapon rack that can store up to 5 weapons
- 4x bookshelves
- 1x chest
- decoration

Blacksmith workshop (1500 gold)
- a blacksmith forge
- an armor workbench
- a weapon sharpening wheel
- a taning rack
- barrels and containers to store your ingredients and extras
- decoration

Enchant laboratory (1000 gold)
- enchanting table
- containers to store your ingredients
- decoration

Garden (700 gold)
- added a wood chopping block
- added some green ;)
- Wood Chopping Block

Extra Alchemy Table (500 gold)
- adds an alchemy table in the basement

Added the option to purchase an Alchemy Table (500 gold) to be placed in the basement next to the Enchanting Laboratory.This is an extra alchemy table i case you want to convert Breezehome's Alchemy Laboratory into a children's room.

Some changes were made to the original room in order to add the new basement, moved a barrel under the stairs to the front, so no items will be lost if you placed them in the original barrel. Before adding this mod, please make sure you are outside Breezehome.

Sometimes the steward won't be in Dragonreach main quarter, but he will come to the main hall around 5pm game time (outside this area the steward won't have option to purchase or decorate the Breezehome).

WOOD CHOPPING BLOCK (only happens if you don't have Dawnguard)
Added a Wood Chopping Block outside the house with the garden upgrade option. Unfortunatly there is a bug so in order to have it work you need to have your weapon ready, if you have your weapon sheathed the animation will stop.

DAWNGUARD - Alchemy Laboratory Bug
There is a bug in Dawnguard that prevents you from buying the Alchemist decoration, you pay for it, but doesn't upgrade, this is related to the expansion and not my mod. In order to fix this you will need to uncheck the Dawnguard from the data files before starting the game, purchase the decoration and restart the game with Dawnguard checked again.

If that doesn't work try this fix by Griffinsong:
This mod fixes the alchemy laboratory purchase bug caused by Dawnguard.

"alchemist table bug is related to Dawnguard if you uncleck it in the datafiles in the lancher and go buy it and then go back and able dawnguard note all your progress in the DLC will be cleared just to note"

This mod is compatible with Hearthfire.

For those who have problems with enabling the alchemist table in the basement (without the dragonborn uncompatible patch) theirs a solution simular to fixing the a. table in base room.
Hope you dont bother using console commands (~):
prid XX00884E (XX for whiterun-basement in load order prefix)
disable (just to be sure)
For the base alchemy table you have to disable e4ef9 and enable e4ec8.
User discretion is advised, pls dont fiddle too much. GL Have Fun.

The options aren't coming up..? The steward doesn't offer the new rooms.

ONe issue that keeps cropping up. The mannequins just wont stop wandering. Virtually every time I come into the house they take a stroll and I have to go activvate them and put something on them to move them back. But the very next time I come in, off they go again. Is there a way to permanently fix this?

When you adopt a kid for breezehome the alchemy room is converted to a kids room (hearthfire dlc pack), that is the reason I added an alchemy table to the basement.

A mod that alters the floor in the first floor of breezehome will remove the entrance to the basement, if the modder for that created that mod is able to arrange the floor to have that entrance, then it wil be possible to use both mods.

Glad you liked my mod, it's great to know that after more than 2 years people still enjoy it :)

Hands down I like this basement mod more than any other Breezehome mod so far. The only thing I would like is if I could kind of combine this with another mod that changes the main floor a bit. I like the one that takes out the firepit and replaces it with a fireplace on the side of the room to open up the floor a bit. But I am going to use this mod from now on. Double thumbs up. One thing though I noticed by accident. I was buying the upgrade and my mouse accidentally selected switching the kids room to an alchemy station, and there was never an option to change it back. Not sure if that was an issue with your mod or the main game.

Is there a console code or some kind of fix for when I buy the alchemy table for the basement, the steward takes my money but the table never appears? If you have a solution, other players might like the fix. It didn't really matter to me because that corner is very tight when the housecarl and my follower get in there.It should have been wide enough for two people to meet without squeezing. Maybe 4 feet wider and the basement would still be under the house on the street side.

I forced enabled the Alchemy Table via console after finding its formID (88E4) and the mod's hex loading order. It worked and, as I already had paid for the table, there was no bad feeling about cheating...

Just on a side note... Sc*** You Proventus... I'm the Dragonborn and I do as I please!
