Is there any way to update/change this to work for a custom start? I would do it myself but I have no idea how.

It doesn't work here... After start a new game I didn't get a single advantage with Predator: drivers, mechanics, engineer, HQ... everything is the one that the game provides by default.

Works for me but I had to completely restart the game before it started working. It's way, WAY too OP, though. Right now I'm firmly in 1st and 2nd place, running engines in low, already lapped 3rd once and about to lap him again.

Once you jump off the line, you can turn everything down and just sit there, pitting once in a while. During those pits you'll probably also have enough time to take a dump, have a bite to eat, make a few phone calls, and bang a groupie in the trailer (in no particular order) before you even begin to risk losing your place.

Could be a good mod, cuz sometimes I like easy, but not THIS easy.

- You are trying to use this mod with another mod -> It won't work
- You are trying to use this mod with another team or in CAT -> This mod only works for Predator
- You are trying to use this mod in Challenge mode -> It won't work, you can't use mods in Challenges
- You are trying to use this mod in your current savegame -> All database mods require a new career to work

Without more details I can't help you more than that

The mod has been updated for 1.5. Just a couple quick notes :

- Pit crews are not moddable as they are generated every time you start a new career (and regens appear over time), I don't know how it works exactly (because I haven't actually played the game in 1.5 yet) but I assume it depends either of your mechanics' stats or your HQ, anyway using a Ultra Cheat Mod actually ensures you to have a farily decent crew at the start of the game (you'll have a 20-rated pit crew member in their respective role even if they don't have 20 in all stats).

- I haven't bothered modding advanced ERS parts, as single seater series don't use them at the start of the game, maybe later.

Can you make a cheat for a 'create your own team'

Quick update after patch 1.4 : The mod is still working as intended, no update planned for now.

@UKMessy Super_Kyle : No, it won't work as the challenge mode won't let you activate any workshop-supported mod (and rightly so :p).

@F3 DANNY BOIII : Sorry, not possible with a workshop-only mod, I'm not sure if it's possible at all even with dll modding.

You should also add something like if press crtl c. You should add more cash and more for like racer morale and skill.

Depends, the team you replace is semi-random so if you start out in ERS, you can replace Predator, in theory. If that happens, the Predatorbots will also be in the wild.

But maybe the game replaces one of the X worst teams in the championship you are starting in, therefore, if you have the mod installed Predator will never be replaced as it's not one of the worst teams anymore. I have to test.

Yikes. Thanks for searching jt. Also, note to self. Don't leave the Predator mod on when creating a new team. It's bad enough starting slow it's worse when your modded team you can't control annihilates you.

@dariusdgoodman54 Just tried to make a mod for custom teams. I found the files that are related to custom teams (drivers, investors and default parts and suppliers) but the bad news is workshop doesn't recognise these databases, meaning modding custom teams is not supported right now (although they might be in a next patch). Modding them should be possible though, but one has to directly modify the resources.assets file with UABE to do so, just like the not-so-old days of pre-workshop.

I love this mod. Now, if we could get one for Steinmann I would be in heaven. Also, the dropoff when promoting is devastating.

@Jezus Actually, the public branch and the beta branch are now the same (since yesterday according to steamdb), so you shouldn't need to use the beta branch anymore. I'll update the mod description.

Regarding your problem, considering the recent update I suggest you try to unsub/resub to the mod for now.

HELP, I cannot seem to get the mod working, I'm using the beta patch, but Predator Racing Group aren't as maxed out as the description says they are....

@Feukia Pour la voiture et le QG j'ai trouvé la cause, le modding du QG et des composants de départ de la voiture ne sont pas supporté dans la version "stable" actuelle mais l'est dans la beta. Donc il faut soit que tu utilises le patch beta (Bibliothèque -> clic droit sur Motorsport Manager -> Propriétés -> Onglet "Betas") soit que tu attendes le prochain patch. Merci d'avoir remonté ça.

Pour les noms "terminator" je me suis dit que c'était le plus approprié, vu les stats que je leur ai donné (ils resteront 5 étoiles jusqu'à 43 ans et ils ont même pas 16 ans au début du jeu) et vu le concept du mod, faut pas prendre trop ça au sérieux non plus.

Pour le pilote de réserve, son utilité dans le jeu est assez relative et circonstancielle dans le jeu de toute façon.

Mod sympa mais des trucs sont perfectibles : le QG et la voiture sont toujours nuls. Les noms de pilotes font un peu Robocop non ? Et le pilote de réserve est à zigouiller d'urgence !
Sinon c'est un excellent début ;)
