Wow, somehow didn't realize that was built-in :steamfacepalm:

Granted, that feature is missing on Linux; which I was using Linux only up until recently(as I decided to get Windows both to use the Map Editor in this game and some other games I have needed it)

@Mug: Yeah, it works fine when using the Random Map Generator, scenarios, and even in the campaign. The errors StormChaser below posted(and that I also get) seem to only impact the map editor(for me at least).

@alexej that's understandable. It's still a great mod that I'd probably use outside the Map Editor. I'm trying to figure out how to mod this game myself, but am having no luck finding a program that can even open and read the code in the game files. Do you remember what you used?

To be completely honest I simply forgot and lost every bit of skills with editor I had back then xD and also hdd with mod backup is dead so I do apologize. Not sure if the reparation attempt will come any soon from me :-/

Don't know if Alexej is returning, but just as a general FYI we are still using this mod with a bunch of others, with no problems. We don't use the map editor, though. But just since the below comments could be understood as the mod was broken, it is not. At least not for our use case ;)

Don't know if you ever intend on working on this again, but this mod seems to be incompatible with the vanilla map editor. CTD's when trying to load a new map. Tested with no other mods enabled. It has to do with the errors StormChaser below me posted, as those are the errors I got when loading a new map to begin creating my own.

I've been good so far, I just find it weird that it's compatable with so many other unit mods, but doesn't work with New Arsenal.

Do you have mercenary camp or other required building in city? I made thorough tests not a day ago so I am pretty sure EVERY SINGLE ONE of them is buildable

@skaz88 Try it with Chivalrous intentions. Tested with my usual mod collection and its a BLAST :D works well
Orc breaker irregular is buildable as intended you need Slaughter pits in city and Orc Patron Military from race governance, tested and able to recruit those monsters :D

For some reason this mod and New Arsenal don't play well together, which is odd since other unit addition mods don't cause any problems.

because you are not an author you should not open mine but create new with BNU as requirement like dlc requirements. That way you can explore everything I changed or created

And of course we use your Brave New Units mod :) - but obviously we cannot evolve the Archon units

The Archon Mod is not 100% compatible with Empire Building Mod in the sense that you can not build the additional buildings like Market, Verteran's Hall, Trade Center, Sanctuary, etc whenever you play an Archon leader.
For the rest it is compatible -> we use the Hero Compatibility version of Empire Building Mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=956473040 -> so we can also use Hero Professions Mod and Hero Development Mod from the same author as the Archon Mod.

@giorgiga - that is strange. I play Brave New Units together with Racial Heritage Mod and many other mods without problems.

I only hope that the Archons from the Archon Race Mod -

We get "you are running an older version of these mods: Brave new units" when starting up all games based on the new update. Is it just us?
All expansions installed, PBEM games, all have updated to the latest version

I guess RHM author uses same name for evolve categories as me. Since his mod is older it would be nice to change mine :D You are an excellent conflict hunter will try to work on this in some spare time and bring an update

@alexej Apparently it was Racial Heritage Mod causing the issue (or maybe it's incompatible with yours?) - anyway, after removing Racial Heritage Mod I was able to add Brave New Units and start a new game with no assertion failures. Thanks!

It's hard to tell wether units from other mods evolve... I'm trying out a bunch of new mods and so I don't know them very well yet:

Ouch its for random maps, if you want campaign you will have to play vanilla
