Irregulars are nice units, versatile and interesting, but we all know they tend to die easily. So if player takes care of them and nurtures them they should reward him. Best way to do that is evolving to higher tier with increased stats and survivability, Draconian Hatchlings and High Elf Initiates already evolved, but into units that can be built. I do not like them to do so, so I choose to make new tier 2 irregular for all races except Orcs and Frostlings (because they have tier 2 forms in Empire Building Mod and since its my favourite mod, I will never break compatibility intentionally).

Building Mercenary Camp in city (mystical upgrade from trade post site) will give your Irregulars buff +1melee str +1ranged str and +1 defense and allow you to build Human, Tigran, Draconian, Goblin and Halfling tier 2 irregulars directly. High Elf tier 2 irregulars needs Magic Academy in city to be built directly and Dwarven Besiegers needs Enchanted Armory.

(If you are using Empire Building Mod - Temple of Eternal Serpent in range of city allows you to build Tree of Life mystical upgrade giving your irregulars permanent regrowth!)

This is first version of the mod, more of a teaser of what I want it to become in future. But plans are one thing and realisation another. Units were created without any graphical skills at all, no editing of existing models nothing new created in 3d software. Some units are looking great anyway for me atleast, with some I am not satisfied. So before I will move to other units evolve forms, I will try some 3d software editing to improve units made so far. Do not expect update too soon though, my 8 months old son is pretty jealous when I am close to computer so my skills might not improve at all xD

Started working on this mod in honor of Brave New World 3.2 mod for Age of Wonders 2 Shadowmagic[]

And of course we use your Brave New Units mod :) - but obviously we cannot evolve the Archon units

The Archon Mod is not 100% compatible with Empire Building Mod in the sense that you can not build the additional buildings like Market, Verteran's Hall, Trade Center, Sanctuary, etc whenever you play an Archon leader.
For the rest it is compatible -> we use the Hero Compatibility version of Empire Building Mod: -> so we can also use Hero Professions Mod and Hero Development Mod from the same author as the Archon Mod.

@giorgiga - that is strange. I play Brave New Units together with Racial Heritage Mod and many other mods without problems.

I only hope that the Archons from the Archon Race Mod - also get evolved versions in the Brave New Units Mod :)

Did not changed version number before uploading to steam, but it was not problem before. Reuploaded with changed version number hope it helps

We get "you are running an older version of these mods: Brave new units" when starting up all games based on the new update. Is it just us?
All expansions installed, PBEM games, all have updated to the latest version

I guess RHM author uses same name for evolve categories as me. Since his mod is older it would be nice to change mine :D You are an excellent conflict hunter will try to work on this in some spare time and bring an update
