Thanks for your work, and the FREE mod. Anyone complaining about the images, why don't you go and make your own mod, and pay for a graphic artist yourself. Some people will complain about anything.

The rampant use of AI, both in the images (which are not even needed) and description makes me not want to use this mod.

It's a shame that you felt the need to blemish your work with AI slop like this.

It's a useful mod but be aware that all 'overhead mountain' roof technically become 'constructed' roof, meaning no infestations will occur and it won't stop enemy mortar shells.
If you really need to open a hatch in your mountain base, it might be possible to disable the mod after removing the roof and getting the 'overhead mountain' properties again, my save worked fine after this.

During a siege, the raiders mortars were punching holes in the overhead mountain my colony was carved into. I uninstalled Roofless, and the mortars stopped penetrating the overhead mountain. There was also a meteorite that hit and knocked a hole in the overhead mountain over my walk in freezer. It seems this mod removes the impenetrable part from overhead mountains, making it a regular, more difficult to remove roof.

Hey Rakeki, it's been a few weeks now and I just wanted to check in with you and see how things are going. Hope you're doing well and if work on this is still ongoing, I hope it goes smoothly. I just wanted to see if we could get a progress report on how things are going. This is one of the mods on my list that I'm still hanging back for while waiting on updating to B18 so I wanted to know if I'll be able to check it off the list as either updated or abandoned.

I will get an update for this soon :) I dont play RimWorld much anymore but ill do my best for this mod.

BUG REPORT: Infestations won't happen when this mod is on. Infestations only happen under an overhead mountain. This mod makes those roofs removable, but infestations wont spawn under them anymore. I tested this by enabling developer mode and triggering the infestation incident. When the mod is on, the event triggers but nothing spawns. When the mod is off, it works fine.

Cannot remove this mod without breaking the save. Also Im pretty sure this mod is casuing bodies to delete things under them and build roofs automatically. Can't test this really without starting a new map.

Tested: This mod works fine with A17. I have loaded this into a preexisting save with no issue.

I wanted to have access to version 0.16.

Ha not gunna have to worry about the insect infestations now! Maybe I can even farm them for jelly by having a small part of mountain roofed still and have 5 heaters on that area to cull the population. Thank m8!

This is really helpful for a cave-dwelling colonist such as myself. Finally I can grow plants "indoors" without having to builds a bunch of hydrophnic basins :D
