I deleted all lines in the Launch options and all my mods worked again.
Now since i'm on 4K i can see a little bit of difference but not as great as Rome II.
At least the mods are working great now. It's still too tiny for me, i play attila at 2K, still amazing visuals with some mods.
I just wish the other icons and pictures in tech trees etc could be made bigger. Makes me dilate tbqh.
Have an award.
It was working for me in year 2023 (November something like that)
Now i think it's outdated, so sad man...
Can you update it maybe ? I have 4K screen everything so tiny in attila ):::
Would be so awesome and kind from you.
I also checked in steam and CA app oppening before the game launch, i have just your mod in first position top of the list, so there cannot be any conflict, not working...
I have from time to time come back to troubleshoot with people, so after 8 years of this mod working for thousands of people, I think the problem is on your end.
If your game isn't loading with this mod, and you have validated the download, tried troubleshooting the launcher (unsub/resub), and have no other issues with your OS, then that pretty much leaves a mod conflict.
Try placing the mod at the very last in your load order. If it still doesn't launch, there is a mod conflict.
Have no clue whether any other mods alter the "db/font" file but they might. I doubt it, but they might. To my knowledge (and I've modded TW for over 10 years) I am the first and only person who tried modifying this db file to fix text size. I can't imagine there's a conflict but hey, anything is possible.
Here are the steps I followed to get the mod to work:
Step 1: Subscribed via Steam Workshop
Step 2: Enabled the Mod
Step 3: Launched the game
If you believe the mod doesn't work then it either didn't download correctly from workshop or you simply don't notice the subtle difference in text size.
This mod alters a single data file (db/fonts) which to my knowledge isn't modded by any other mod on the workshop, unless the in-game font is modified by the mod.
Even in cases of file load conflict, there is literally no reason this mod should ever crash anyone's game, unless, again, it failed to download correctly from the workshop in which case unsub/resub and validate should remedy the issue (not unique to this mod or any other.)
Make sure "enable out of date mods" box is always checked.
If that doesn't help, you might have to unsubscribe/resubscribe the mod, or manually d/l a third-party TW mod manager which will generate a user.script file in your scripts folder.
These are just general TW mod troubleshooting tips, if this doesn't work then I'm unsure what the issue would be, might check the twcenter forums (most reliable info source, as CA doesn't answer troubleshooting tickets)
