No you don't need the other mod to make this one work properly and vice versa. They are different mods intended to be used alone.

It only affects vanilla units, I'll update the mod when i get the time but since I don't spend alot of time with the game anymore. The updates might be sporadic. Should still work however.

@captainkiller79 Yes, it should work without any problem since this is a texture mod and not a major mod. If it doesn't, let me know and I'll look into it.

Hey Niko, this doesn't change the hslmets included in Rise of the Republic. This mod only affects the Grand Campaign and Ceasar in Rome expansion. If I have time maybe I'll do one for ROTR but I'm not sure I'll have the time.

does this mod allow the soliders in the same unit share helmets?
becouse i love the new syracuse helmets in Rise Of The Republic and would love to have al the soldiers in the same unit with it

Thanks a lot dear Leidy. I was so keen to see these changes and I love it.
The Roman army (after Marian reforms) was the 1st professional army in the history in which all the equipment was provided to the soldiers by the state. As such, it is much more enjoyable for me to play as Rome with this mode. Thanks again.

Sorry man, don't play the game much more and has never used Radious Units. But from what I understand this mod should still be compatible with Radious mods and it should still even if the mod hasn't been updated. Will try to update them both when I have the time.

Actually I personally think the other mod is better. Something with combining the lorica hamata and segementata in the same army just looks nice somehow. My main issue at first was that the helmets and shield did look like you said. The Romans just woke up and grabbed what they could find.

This looks fun to add alongside your unified helmets. Maybe now the Romans in my army won't look like they woke up and decided to just wear anything to battle...

Haha than you man! Actually I bet that a lot of those hours are med leaving the game idle to do other stuff! So it's not really 1000 hours. But thanks for the kind words, like I said before don't really consider myself a modder. This was just something I did because I didn't expect that much respone. Simple, yet outstanding mod.

Btw, for those interested, it speaks for itself since it's only a small visual change, but this mod is compatible with Radious and it's save game compatible.
