Hi KingN! I don't know how often you read or respond to comments on here but first off I wanna say you're an absolute legend. I've been playing Forgotten Few 2 for years now and it is hands down my favorite single player scenario in the entire workshop. The amount of time and love you must've put into all of these scenarios is insane and does not go unappreciated!

I do have a question for you though. I've really been enjoying some newer gear, weapon, vehicle, and faction mods lately and was wondering what I would have to do to import these mods into your Forgotten Few 2 scenarios so that I could use them? I don't really know anything about programming and modding unfortunately so I don't know if this is even something that is possible to do, let alone something I'd be capable of without breaking my game, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello KingN. There is a great lack of recruit replenishment adjustment in the mission settings. Replenishing every 5 missions is very fast, you stop taking care of the fighters. It would be nice to add the ability to change this in the settings, for example, 5, 8 and 10 missions

@dingleberry Thanks. The next update will remove the RHS requirement and it will use only CUP if RHS is not loaded.

@Extazz Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it. Regarding your question, I have the next bigger update close to completion and that might have the solution for you. It adds an ability for the commander to unlock the loadouts for other players in MP environment, making them able to choose their own.

The only suggestion i'd have, would be to be able to save our favorite custom squad loadout along with the mission progress.

It would allow for quicker planning, especially when you tend to use the same kind of loadout everytime and since the other players cannot choose their own, it is always up to the platoon commander and takes a bit of time to gear both squads between missions.

Man, i've been playing the OFP/Arma series since day one in 2001. I've played hundreds of
scenarios of all kinds, in solo, coop or PVP.
Your campaign is a golden nugget, this is the best scenario i've ever played in any Arma game, and i always come back to it, years after years.

You're pushing the immersion and gameplay to its limits.
The ambiance (music, writing, voicelines, insertions and extractions especially), the difficulty and the replayabilité works perfectly together.
And one important thing is that i almost NEVER encounter any bugs, which is a miracle considering how clunky the Arma engine can be.

@KingN Thanks for this great mission! Tell me how to add a virtual arsenal? It's just that a lot of things that the faction (RU) could actually have available are not available in standard loadouts (weapons, scopes and etc.). I'll edit the mission myself, but I don't khow how. I see the best option to add one button to the mission preparation menu.

I have actually already replaced the RHS sound samples to vanilla ones. Russia has garbled radio chatter. This is for removing unnecessary dependencies as I'm in a process of making the mission more modular.

@KingN The game is rated mature and already has some aggressive and graphic content. If that person does not enjoy a certain aspect then they don't have to play whether it's modded content or not. They can play something else, we do not have to mold the world around them.

@KingN I'm not sure if you need to change anything because of the opinion of one very impressionable player. These sounds harmoniously fit into the mission, without them it will lose its colors and atmosphere. Leave it as it is, the mission is very good.

@MyPasswordIsRushB That is from a collection of sound samples from the RHS Mod itself I use for looping ambient chatter. I'll have a look if I could do something to them in general.

Hey I'm about 99% sure that one of the recordings on the base radio is from an original archive of the Chechen War, having heard the whole tape I'd like if it was replaced with something more, benine rather than actual audio of when people were dying. I dont know Russian so IDK if its the same but Im pretty sure it is, and I'd just like to ask that the ambient radio recordings of actual combat are removed because having heard the actual archive its some pretty disturbing stuff.

@NikoB Thanks! Porting the mission to other maps and making custom factions is psooible but needs creating custom class libraries and such inside the mission structure under libraries folder.

I don't really ever responded to comment threads in any mods. This literallyh is my first I would just like to say I have really enjoyed your mods specifically this one and the other RU on Chernarus. I never played the old arma campaign. you have done a wonderful job i love playing this mod. Is there anyway to get this to work on the other maps as well like the other CUP maps and the other Vanilla Maps? Also is there a way for me to supplement the factions used such as if I wanted to use the AFRF 2035 or USSR russian units etc ? Thanks again for the fun ill be sending a donation soon.

@Frank. G No, I tried Lythium about a month ago and about 80% of the doors didn't open. That would be a big problem with building raid missions as long as it isn't fixed.

@SHTURM-333 That's how to helicopters now work for AI, the way targeting and AI behaves has changed. They do take out armored targets often but there's nothing much I can do to improve their efficiency other than max out their skill.

Hi King ! FF is still the best mod I have ever played even outside of Arma series. Just wondering though, is there a way or AI mod to improve the helicopter support ? I rarely see them do anything useful besides fly around until they get shot down.

I remember in Arma 2, helicopter support was absolutely devastating against all targets.

Issue found with the Russian version. Sometimes, the Ground Infiltration option will give you a BMD-2 vehicle. This vehicle however, doesn't have any passenger slots, so you will be stuck at base (unless you walk all the way)

@Neff Are you playing with the 32bit exe? Please use 64bit if this occurs, I haven't had any issues after the 64bit exe was released.

@SHTURM-333 Tested earlier the rocket barrage and seems like CUP BM-21 is endeed bugged after some update, AI isn't able to perform a barrage. RHS BM-21 has never worked properly either. Looks like CUP has to fix it to work.

Anyone else experiencing problems with the rocket barrage ? Nothing happens after calling it in. Tested with only required mods in campaign and single mission.

@TuskoHopkinsz Thanks for the kind words, I made it the way I like to play Arma. There is surely more potential to it by porting it over to more terrains but I'm currently having a longer break from Arma editing. I don't know when I'm returning to the working table but more terrains is among the next things on the to-do list.

I just want to thank you for this fantstic mission. I always hoped BI will make a proper dynamic champaign because this is how this game can utilise all of its potential (at least offline). Somehow I missed this fantastic mission until now. For me this is how Arma ment to be played!

Do you plaen to port it to more terrians? I would love to see a Takistan (with BAF), Malden and a Tano version too or even some ww2 with IFA3.

@Pokey Thanks! The library folder contains all faction and terrain parameters. Armored amounts are not adjustable atm. The armor/infantry ratio increases as the enemy amount increases to avoid like 100 enemy soldiers that would have a great impact on performance. A starting parameter to tweak the amount of armors on some level is an idea though, more parameters in general too.

Holy hell, you've got one hell of a mission here. I think a few tweaks and evolotions and you have yourself an all time great here, up there with DRO/DCO. A few questions:

1) how might I go about tinkering under the hood to create my own factions/classes? I love your MARSCO Raiders faction/loadout, but I'm dying to try your mission generation out with my own custom loadouts. Is this a sort of control you would consider implementing into the mission in the future?

2) Is it possible to control the amount of enemy armor generated? Personally, I prefer missions with minimal armor. I love your mission generation overall, but sometimes I feel like it generates a few to many enemy armor units for my liking, I would love the ability to control the ratio of types of enemy units as a mission creator.

Overall, I think if you just gave us mission makers more granular control over the paramaters of mission generation then I think you've got a real masterpiece on your hands!

Hey KingN I have a weird where the "The Forgotten Few 2" Title Screen won'*t disappear after choosing a mission and the LZs. For some reason it only happens if we have to travel by Helicopter. Otherwise the mission works fine and is awesome. And I would love to play more of it

The mission is not updated to 1.04. Also, the American version of this mission for Altis and Chernarus are also released, please see the collection. Let me know if you expreience any problems with the latest versions.
