Is there a limit to how many items can be put in the inventory? I had about a carry weight value of around 3500 of items in the inventory and every time I accessed it to transfer items between my own and it, the game started to lag quite a lot. It could be a limitation on the game or it might be the mod, any ideas?

Using this is SO much less-boring than staggering out of a dungeon laden with five tons of loot.

Nice name

Brilliant and oh so NEEDED mod. Some of us don't want to sped 1/3 of the time fussing with inventory management, this is perfect for us. Props!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! The very worst thing about this game has been the lack of poundage, running back and forth to store/sell items. Have been feeling stuck with the steed stone just to avoid pulling out all my hair. So thanks for the most common sense mod yet!! And anyone who thinks this is too much of a cheat needs to re-think what a cheat is. Running to merchants to off load items you've obtained without cheating is just an annoyance, and has no bearing on the game play itself. I love it, this was really ruining the game for me, so thanks for the no-cheat solution!!

No longer will my kleptomania gnaw at the back of my mind in Dwemer Ruins...now finding enough merchants to buy enough dwemer bars and scraps to fill Dragonsreach will be another issue entirely. :P

Guess I should have said you can find that mod in the Magic Category. This version is a cheat and will remain so.

OK, just for people who seem to want a more balanced version - a new mod "Sol's Secret Stash - Limited"

Conjuration Spell costs 376 base mana to cast. Chest will now only hold 15 items. When you first pick up the book be prepared for a fight.

And a slight bug I encountered... Very slight. When I first got the book, I learned the spell, but it did nada until I left the mine, after that, it worked fine!

Yeah, Jesse's point is valid, I suppose it could be left as is, and if people don't wanna exploit it to it's fullest, then they don't have to. I just love the idea, and would like to see it in the game in a way that I COULDN'T exploit it... The temptation is too strong!
JesseBuck Feb 13, 2012 @ 8:08pm
Leave it as is. Balance shmalance. If people wanna fast travel between home and a merchant a million times, more power to them. Waste your lives on load screens just to sell enough to buy a home in Solitude. I played vanilla long enough to stop caring about being true to the barter system. I was this far away (tiny gesture) from consoling a million gold, Sol's Secret Stash saved me.

Oh agreed it would be a totally different mod with a different related name something like "Sol's Secret Stash - Balanced" or something.
lunar8989 Feb 12, 2012 @ 7:57pm
Dont update it, if you do then make it a totally different mod, I like the way it is now.
CoronaKing Feb 11, 2012 @ 11:36pm
But as others pointed out, this is heavy on the cheating side, but it's a single player game, so if people wanna hunt down the book and learn the spell, go for it! But I like the idea of a scroll... Make it crazy expensive, for the peeps that like the idea, but lose sleep over exploiting it
CoronaKing Feb 11, 2012 @ 11:31pm
Maybe make this a scroll, and an expensive one, that could leave the spell as is, and make is semi-limited

i looted the entirety of Mzulft, a dwemer ruin filled with heavy dwarven stuff. I mean the entirety. I did it with the console command TGM. I learned dwarven smithing and installed Vals Crafting Meltdown mod, which allowed me to melt down the hundreds of dwarven cups, plates, and other stuff into dwarven ingots, and then built a ton of dwarven weapons and armor.

Just a fun story.......

this should be an expert spell but WhatIsSol has a point, more of a cheat
WhatIsSol  [author] Feb 10, 2012 @ 7:06pm
This is most certainly a cheat. A more balanced one with say increased conjuration skill requirements, greater magical cost, tougher dungeon placement, and something like a weight limit could be put together and maybe turn this from a cheat into just a magic mod. If something like that was put together I would make it another mod, since I'm sure they are people like myself that just like to hoover everything from a dungeon.
Niklas Feb 10, 2012 @ 5:25am
Seems a bit overpowered, what about making it so you can only cast it once per day, maybe only allow you to move 15-20 items at the time.
WhatIsSol  [author] Feb 8, 2012 @ 6:29pm
xx000D67 where xx is the mod load order, will give you the spell tome for it. If you dont know you can just start with 01, then increment from there. For me with this being the first mod other then the High Texture pack it is 04000D67
Jaz Feb 8, 2012 @ 6:08pm
say you didnt want to go to this mine, could you give the item id?
jaykoll Feb 8, 2012 @ 4:54pm
Very nice, just the thing for bringing back the loot from the dweamer delvings! A must for anyone that hates to fast travel.
Nym Feb 8, 2012 @ 4:25pm
Very good! 10/10, thumbs up.
Nym Feb 8, 2012 @ 4:23pm
I found the Spell Tome successfully, and I'm glad you put it in a mine with bandits in.
Everyone should do that - for the challenge.
