Don't try this until you've tried either the original or the workshop version of the sound_fix.pack. Easier to install and seems to give more consistent results.
In other news however i did end up finding some alternatives to this mod that do seem to work for me, i encourage everyone who has the bowmen sound bug to look them up in the workshop if Sinfonia Semplice isn't working.
At the time of creation, this fix worked with old modifications. Support for new modifications, alas, no.
No one updated it.
If the modification has a crooked sound, complain to the creator of the modification, on his crooked hands.
And “that never worked” - has no reason, because the number of downloads and adding to favorites suggests otherwise.
Nevertheless, absolutely for every mod, this fix is not suitable, it all depends on luck.
Someone can try to update it, but ... I am engaged in the localization of modifications, and this fix was published because it simply wasn’t in steam.
Universal pill does not exist.
As others before me explained well on this page.
Putting Sinfonia Semplice on the workshop is wrong as isn't meant to work like other mods,it generates a pack file containing fixes for your mods and therefor won't work from the workshop because it will just copy it into the mod directory and WILL NOT launch the generation process.
Don't use Sinfonia Semplice from here as it is different depending on the mods you use it for and it is highly likely that it won't work from here (if it even could for anyone).
Go google it instead you will have more sucess in your attempts.
The publisher should remove it to avoid any misunderstanding from users :(
Still doesn't work after numerous tries after 8 cocking years. Now I'm just waiting for Shogun 3
From The_Yogi:
No, no, no, you can't just put sinfonia semplice soundfix like that: There's a reason why most modders put it bundled with their own mod or just point it out to the tool download.
The reason is, that the soundfix for each and every mod is different. A soundfix for Darthmod won't work with Radious, for example. Or someone have mod A, generate a soundfix for that mod, then add mod B, then the soundfix for mod A won't work anymore, the player must create new soundfix for Mod A+B.
Why I Copy+Paste this?
So anyone would read, before commenting that this mod will not work.
Even when used correctly, there are certain precautions one must take in structuring a mod's units table(s) in order to get proper output from the tool. It's quite finnicky.
Unfortuantely, this exceptionally annoying bug was introduced with the FotS expansion and never addressed by the developer.
