found out how to make it work, follow the instructions of the very first post at the bottom of this thread

@Sailor Clueless, you can easily alter this yourself with one xml edit.
Sailor Clueless Feb 3, 2021 @ 8:11pm
Would anybody be willing to construct a complementary mod that would enable the Hojo's kyuba no michika to be upgraded into the crossbow instead of the knight? I would be most grateful.
Just Trash Apr 21, 2020 @ 6:18am
How to make this work?
Assassin Apr 16, 2020 @ 8:44am

Salsa Boy Mar 20, 2020 @ 3:42pm

PraiseTheLordChrist Oct 22, 2018 @ 7:16pm
So is there a way for this to work in multiplayer?
Kazegawa Bankusai Dec 31, 2017 @ 7:56am
cool mod, it would be fantastic if it worked with the ethnic units mod
elrallinde Dec 18, 2017 @ 6:10am
Does not show in mods menu.

So I'm a bit confused as to where you got the name "Chubu" from for Oda Nobunaga's nation, due to him having been in charge of the Owari clan among other prominant figures I see on this list, like Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. So where did you get the names of all of there empires from for this mod if in reality they all at some point ruled Owari?

@Sa Ool
Download 7zip (it's freeware, and takes next to no time to install)
Go to MyDocuments> MyGames> Sid Meiers Civilization 5> MODS
Right click the Civ5Mod file and select 7zip -> Extract to "(insert mod name here)
Start the game up and hit Mods
Enable the mod
Click Next and begin a game.

If not there download from here http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/view/835561608
Place the Civ5Mod in MyDocuments> MyGames> Sid Meiers Civilization 5> MODS
Right click the Civ5Mod file and select 7zip -> Extract to "(insert mod name here)
Start the game up and hit Mods
Enable the mod
Click Next and begin a game.

So I clicked subscribe but when I go to play the game it isn't there. How can I use this mod?
SixthHouse Gameing May 1, 2017 @ 1:39pm
what`s the name in the mod list?
Kanarena Mar 9, 2017 @ 6:14pm
The mod's quite fun, and appreciably well thought out, although it doesn't seem to play well with the community balance patch, had to disable it to give it a try due to a repeated game crash at the end of turn one, is there any chance of compatibility?

@Iaroque I Think I'll wait for the Actual SDK to be Released before I start Downloading Mods for Civilization VI; I'm sure Fraxis'll get around to it sooner or later.
Encolpius  [author] Jan 23, 2017 @ 10:26am
Modding, as you have said, is still possible without SDK, but so far nobody has managed to put art in afaik, which is fine when you're making the AI better but awful when you're making new civs.
Norton Jan 22, 2017 @ 11:59am
@ianandsue5 Most modders have hacked or borken into the game and can modify the game. A few mods have been made like JFD's Rule with Faith, sukritact's Historicity +++, and the Moar Units packs. Some have made civs but with out the custom leader.
ianandsue5 Jan 22, 2017 @ 10:45am
@Iaroque I'm confused.
Encolpius  [author] Jan 22, 2017 @ 10:24am
The SDK hasn't been released. We're all outraged. Firaxis is suffering from early-access-mislabeled-as-full-release syndrome.
ianandsue5 Jan 22, 2017 @ 6:45am
@Iaroque Has the SDK for Civilization 6 been Released, at long last? If yes then hopefully someone will make a Mod removing City-States from the Game. I'll certainly keep an Eye open for your Japanese Mods.
Encolpius  [author] Jan 21, 2017 @ 5:35am
Ah, nine comments at once! Thanks for the praise everyone!

@ianandsue5: The Ashikaga weren't really relevant for most of the Sengoku period, and besides, are a bit too "Japan"-y (in other words, not representing a particular region) for me to include a Yoshimitsu-era Ashikaga civ in the mod. Having said that I'm working on Japanese civs for Civ 6 now, and if I ever need a Kozuke/Shimotsuke area civ, I might go with one of the early Ashikaga.

As for Hattori, they're ahistorical. Iga Province *was* independent in the mid-Sengoku, but it was run by a coalition of village elders known as the Iga Sokoku Ikki (who almost certainly had ninja connections). I might select the Iga Sokoku Ikki for Civ 6 though!

For those having trouble installing this mod, download it, place it in your mod folder, open the file with winrar or similar software and extract it in the same folder. I made this and worked.:2016imnotcrying:
Hikkaq Jan 16, 2017 @ 8:20am
it's a masterpiece
Pah-Wraith Gul Dukat Jan 16, 2017 @ 3:06am
I manually downloaded it and placed it in the mods folder. For some reason when I open the mod selection if appears to start downloading for about half a second and then dissapears. Not sure whats going on there...
👽 Jan 14, 2017 @ 3:42pm
THERES A TRIFOORCE
Encolpius  [author] Jan 13, 2017 @ 9:43am
There is a manual download. It's on CivFanatics and the link is the same as the unique details link.

For that matter, you could just use http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/view/835561608 .
Caligula Jan 13, 2017 @ 7:49am
the mod refuses to download...it dosnt even show up in my cashe or mod files...
Netheretic Jan 12, 2017 @ 8:46pm
Could you provide a manual download for the Mod?
Encolpius  [author] Jan 12, 2017 @ 9:31am
There is a scenario. I'm not exactly sure what the rules are in this version: I tried to make it a free TSL, but WorldBuilder is weird when editing several things at once. I'll fix it at some point.
Caligula Jan 11, 2017 @ 2:56pm
so is this a scenario or somthing,or does it just add these civs and a map?
Encolpius  [author] Jan 9, 2017 @ 10:19am
Nope. This doesn't change anything about wonders. Make sure it's not a different mod. Also, you can probably access individual wonder pages using the pedia's search function.
QuantumPaws Jan 9, 2017 @ 9:56am
Somehow, when I have this mod activated I can't access the pedia section for wonders. Any idea why?
Encolpius  [author] Jan 6, 2017 @ 2:18am
You don't have any missing DLC. Try downloading it from CivFanatics (the link is above) and extracting the archive into your mod folder.
Deafspace Jan 5, 2017 @ 7:30pm
I run a mac by the way
Deafspace Jan 5, 2017 @ 7:29pm
I just subscribed and checked my mods but it wasn't there, even though I have G&Ks as well as BNW. Is there another dlc I'm missing?
