Das Problem liegt nicht an der sorter mod, sondern an der visual storage mod, weil dessen container zusätzliche visuelle und mechanische Optionen bietet.
Ich selbst verwende auch beide mods in meinem cluster und bin somit ebenso konfrontiert.
Ich gehe einfach den Mittelweg und verwende für den Sorter vanilla container (bzw. deren S+ Pendanten) und von dort aus pulle ich dann die jeweiligen Rohstoffe in die RP container.
Ist etwas umständlich, aber so ist's nunmal. ;)

i installed your mod and the mod: RP Visual Storage (1445181373) and the vaccum sorter cant sort into this modcontainers. i renamed the containers, but it dont work :(
can you fix this maybe? :) :)

You may be interested in looking at Kineko's Inventory Control System which can be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1332225885

It actually learns about objects in game and can manage items from other mods. It also handles cryopods and other items with 'health' or 'durability'. Note that it is a much more complicated to manage mod - so it isn't for everyone.

It will only sort items that have static stats. So, only basic items.

If i've a lot of clothes or weapons on my dino. How can i configure the vacum to take and sort these items ? Cause actualy i see only food or ressources options.

Could you clarify your question? I'm not sure what you're asking.

Benoitfouc, you can only set a sorter to one or the other food/resource.. however since the cost is relatively low to build one, I simply make one for each.

Can we use one vacum sorter with buble for both : food and ressources sorter ?

dont try to auto sort cryopods, the dino gets poofed out of it.

The MODDER hasn't posted anything since 9/2017. I think it's a safe bet to assume this mod is dead. :(

Would be nice if this Mod would sort other containers within the huge bubble. kind of like Automated Ark.... Its cool that this puts items into inventory, but it doesn't KEEP things organized.

Kind of like cleaning your room, then never ever cleaning it again, gets dirty after a while.

That doesn't work, rabbit, However, you can put a sorter on a quetzal platform and get the patrol mod and have it fly materials back and forth on a patrol if you're smart about how you set it up. ;)

is it possible to rename a dino like how the instructions say to put items in them as if they were a box etc?

Anyone had an luck getting this to work with extra ark? The storage there can be renamed but it's not through the radial menu, so it's not working as far as I can tell. I really like the snapable containers in EA... but I'm a huge fan of being able to sort as well. S+ storage is great for renaming/and configuring capacity, but it's so hard to make sure they don't clip through adjacent walls.

BTW: I added the equivalent of Joans to my Storage Mod (K+ Collector).

Joan’s picks up the owl pellets, so it is based on how it was coded and that mod was last updated ages ago.

In case anyone else is having trouble with the Vacuum Sorter working together with Big Storage, turn on "Feeding Trough" in the sorter it fixes the issue. Found the solution by accident.

Hey boss, any chance we could get an ini config to change what the actual distance for medium and short range are?

Very innovative and useful mod. Lightweighted, easy to use and a great timesaver.

Suggestion: A possibility to extend it's own storage in case it's got full. Another special name tag for storage container, e.g. "SortStorage" or something making this inventory like part of the bubble own inventory. If not enough space is in the bubble it uses all storages with that keyword as well. And it also pulls everything and check for distribution from those inventories on storts, so you can basically have multiple sources/storages increases its possible capacities and players can drop stuff into those additional storage when not close to the bubble.

Great mod. But i´m missing a function to vacuum things from my inventory, not only from dinos. That would be awesome.

You can also use Resource - Sort or Consumable - Sort

How does one sort more than one item? Just put the items then sort? there a way to setup a misc chest?

@Pikel it works on my server with Ozocraft and default, setting it up the same way with the EA Modular boxes just doesnt work

@A Polar Bear and Canibalis Rex I use S+ and Big Ben and adv 10 with the sorter. And everything works well.. But I see a lot of people saying they haveing issue that I am not seeing missing building, storage, So I'm not sure what diff is between my 3 severs I rent from logicsevers or the severs you rent or run.. have you tryed resetting name back to defult and then we doing the name and replaceing 1 or more back into the storge?

@A Polar Bear agreed, I seem to have the same issue. A pitty since it would be a nice match with these modular boxes having a nice label text on them for easy identification of which box stores what.

@Everyone. if you use this and S+ post a request on the S+ form for a leave 1 of each item for the transfer and pulling tools. that way it does not pull everything and you have to go reseed your storage with 1 of each item you want sorted

@Pikel i do and it just wont sort to them :/ i put it in the container name and in the lable and it wont work

I use this mod on my severs and it works with all the storge from all the diffrent mods just got to make sure after you lable the storge like Raw meat-Sort you have some of that in there.

hi there. sounds liek an intresting mod. My problem though is the range could be *blush* bigger. Your large is more like a small to medium for the size of my base. could you perhaps include an thrid range with around 100 ?

Also, does it work for S+ structures like the S+ Vault, S+ Metal Box? What about gear? would it sort tools/armor/saddles/weapons ? blueprints into s+ steel bookshelfs?
