Hello, is this mod still work actualy and can I desinstall this mod without problem for my univers and all my characters if I don't want it anymore ?

@G.L.a.D.O.S. It's been years since I've worked on this mod but AFAIK not out of the box. You'll need to have an addon that adds the hair to the custom race's hair selection.

@NightofWastebear yes it's for humans as well. I think it was a gag hairstyle I wanted to add for fun :)

Is it possible ot have these hairs on a modded Spieces that uses a Vanilla Hair Default? Like the Arachne Spieces uses the Hair of the Humans?

does this mod have anything that resembles Dr. Robotnik's mustache?

Are humans meant to have one glitch like hair style? It looks like 3th glitch photo.

@Sirawesome: It's been a really long while since I've touched this mod, but from what I recall that isn't quite possible due to how these hairstyles are implemented. Each hairstyle is tied with a single sprite, meaning that unless otherwise modded, it's staying still. IIRC there was a mod for that kind of thing but it's for wigs rather than hair.

This being said, it *has* been about a year and a half, so someone's likely bound to have implemented a way to create hair animations for the character hair. If that is a thing, and if there's someone down to do it in my place that has experience with that kind of thing, then I'd gladly provide them the base sprites for it.

I REALLY wish that somone would animate the zora style hytol hairs.

how do you make hairstyles to add to vanilla species?

@Trigonaught It should be, as long as the server/clients have it installed I think. I only play on singleplayer so I wouldn't be able to test it.

One of the Avian hairs, the one with the large earring, isn't there anymore. I liked that one alot...

@keylocke: It should. This mod adds new hairstyles into the game, rather than editing preexisting hairstyles.

@Phasehand: That was intentional; one of the colors in the respective palette aren't black, but rather the darkest color in the palette. I'll have versions without the palette with the next update.

I think one of the Female Avian hairstyles that I really liked got pulled on the June 11th update. I'd like to see it come back thanks! :)

Gonna be honest, it's been a while since I've sat down and worked on this. Warframe and real life has me tied to a chair, but that doesn't mean I can't update this.

I should've mentioned: You can request hairstyles! In the case that you want something, just post it here. I should be able to see it eventually.

@RE7RO: That is likely because the server itself does not have the mod installed. All this mod does is adds new hairstyles; nothing else. I think in order to fix it, you will have to go back into singleplayer in order to dismiss those crew members.

I think this mod causes the phantom crew member bug when changing from singleplayer to a dedicated server..
Couldn't see any crew members that had firebound hair and couldn't dismiss them either.

@TheAmazingCat: If the server has the mod, you will see others wear it as well as yourself, and others will see you in it. Meanwhile, if the server does NOT have it, it's likely that others will just see you as a sad, bald person.

I don't know, it's another thing I haven't tried. I've got bad internet too, which doesn't help me much.

@Mega_Soldier: Nah, it's fine. I'd rather this mod simply be just a hair mod. As for the slime race thing, that's kinda neat, but I personally don't think Floran hairstyles would be the most fitting for them.

I've updated the mod! I've now included some new Hylotl, Floran, Human, and Apex hairstyles. Do note that some of the accessory colors for the Apex hairstyles can NOT be recolored. In the future, I'll see to it that I either 1. Make different versions of the hairstyles containing various colors or 2. Edit the hairstyles in such a way that allows it to look good in any outfit. Those feats, plus some other hairstyles I have planned to make over the weekend, will be added later!

and the slime race take all the floran hairstyles and truns them in to slime hairstyles in its code and now there are more hairstyle for them

i also didnt think you meant to but its already compatable with a race mod

@ZobrAZ and @Mega_Soldier2580 Like Timps said, there is currently no way to edit the hairstyles of exisiting characters. Although I would love to implement such a thing, I am by no means a coder, and I wouldn't know a thing on where to start with something like that.

As for compatibility with race mods, I'll have to make an entirely separate mod for that. This mod in particular will be Vanilla Races only. Plus, I'm awkward when it comes to making mods for custom races, so I'd probably go and ask the mod creators about it first.
