@JonnyOnTheSpot you can. Right click on the wallpaper in Wallpaper Engine, click 'Open in Explorer', then replace 'quickText.png' with your desired image. Make sure you also name your image 'quickText.png'.

@xXMadBallXx the image should be square. You can make sure it's square, and also stop it from stretching across the whole screen by adding a transparent background.

Awesome! But how do you avoid a new logo (image or text) stretching the whole screen please? I've tested different sizes but the logo is still the same size in the wallpaper. Is there something to edit or something special to do when saving the .png? Thanx a lot!

Why not allow customization of the text? Seriously, who wants to see the word "smoke" emblazoned across their desktop? We're gamers. Let us use our gamer tags.

@mkvdb Ah, thank you! Is it possible to add other Wallpapers to the smoke? For exmaple an Audio Eclipse which you can put to the side? This would be perfect!

Who do I edit the Text? I found the folder called "quickText.png". I opened it with Paint and wrote my new Text but it doenst work.. Could you help me?

@enky: you can! Go to your steam folder and search for a folder named 827940187, inside is a file called quickText.png.. You can edit it any way you want (save it as png with transparency!!)

It would be amazing to be able to put your name instead of the ''SMOKE'' logo, but still awesome work!

Hey man, i'm trying to set this as a background for another wallpaper that is a wallpaper that reacts to audio ( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=853411033 ) . All I need to do is select the image I want to set as the background, unfortunatly Im not able to locate this wallpaper within the Wallpaper_Engine files at all. Suggestions?

@iDerp, Look in the settings of Wallpaper Engine. You can limit the FPS there.

System Tray > Right-Click 'WE' > Settings > 3rd option from the bottom, a slider.

This is pretty neat! One of the better ones on here. A limiter on the frame rate might help performance... I'd be fine with this running at 24 fps for me.

This is a great visual, I love the effect.
Is it in any way possible to edit the word "Smoke", I'd love to have it as "BloodSteyn" with a red effect and red smoke surrounding it.

@squee oh and everytime you reload the wallpaper it makes a random laid out screen, so it often has nice dark patches and dense ones, making the particles shift around will help it even more soon

@squee: haha, yeah, same here in regards to unhealthy habits :) I'm looking into slowly moving the billboards around a little and creating dark spots that way that make it a little more dynamic, maybe even some camera tricks or audio sensitive flashes :)

Thank you for allowing me to disable the "subliminal" message telling me to smoke more that I already do ;)

Some suggestions/ideas:
- maybe a background and foreground color for smoke, can imagine it being interesting. Maybe its a bust tho.
- if possible have some of the background one light up to create a lightning type of flash ..
- if i compare yours to to the codepen one ( running on single screen so maybe that matters ), I kinda miss the all black areas. It results in a bit more contrast. Right now the screen looks like my room ;) Any chance to get an option to get a result more like the codepen one.
