You would download the devkit from Epic games. Then create a copy of the stock torch, and edit it.

Sure, if you want to remake it go for it. If you get it working, I'll post links to your mod page for everyone. I don't have the source files anymore, but its a pretty easy mod to make.

I would be willing to have a go at it and see if I can fix it for current game version.

@Minister Oak I tried for a few hours to get it working, I have no idea why the new menu broke just this mod. But sure anyone can take this mod over if they want. The mod is very simple, I'd be happy to provide the list a modder of what I changed.

For the record, the spawn code works just fine. The only issue is the engram is not appearing in the craftables.

Would you be willing to pass on the source files so that someone else can update the mod? I love this mod and hate to see it abandoned.

It seems the update that changed the menus broke this mod. I will not be updating it further. The spawn codes should still work, if you really want the item.

Can't seem to find it anywhere. I've searched around the UI and it doesn't seem to be craftable. The engram itself doesn't even say where it can crafted and I've checked the smithy and fabricator. I have the engram learned by default and yet, it doesn't appear anywhere as a craftable.
Are you sure this mod isn't broken?

I'm having trouble finding it, anyway to make it searchable? Is it in a folder in the ui? I have everything unlocked so it makes it nearly impossible to find the darn thing, I'll look again, wish the background was red or something that will pop out better than the normal background

@达戈, you can find obsidian in the middle mountain past the green obelisk. If you're on the SE island, it's the mountain past the green obelisk, and just before the snowy mountain. If you go, take a bird because it's nuts with nasty animals.
I took a teleport (Awsome Teleports) so I can get there and back safely.

Just google your map for obsidian. Its not hard to find, get a pteranadon and fly up and grab some.................Or you could always cheat spawn the item

It adds a new torch. You still have the original, it's actually one of the mats needed to craft this one.

Minor Update to the crafting materials. Ingot is now metal rocks, and I replaced wood with a simple torch. I think this makes more sence overall. Its a little cheaper to craft now as well. I don't have any more plans to tinker with it, this is the final verion. Enjoy!

Thermite is made of metal though. I think when it comes time for an update, I'll just use regular metal rocks instead of ingot, I think that actually would make more sence.

Personally, it doesn't really make sense for it to require metal :/
mean I get that it needs to be expensive, but metal doesn't actually appear to be used in its construct lol

Love this torch. Keeps you warm, better than a fireplace. Lasts forever. Definately worth the cost.
