You need the More beautification mod to show the prop menu again

Not showing on the game

I can't find this decal in game and have no idea why. It's enabled in Load Order Tool and Content Manager. No matter how I search for it in Find it! it doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong?

Does anyone know if this asset will still work without decal prop fix mod? TIA
Glam_Helen Apr 6, 2021 @ 5:37pm
I would venture to guess this is not getting the update... LMAO

Hey, we recently found a way to make large/small decals work without decal prop fix. If you still have the files, consider reimporting them and updating this asset. The workflow is the same as on the CSLM website (https://cslmodding.info/mod/decal-prop-fix/) , but you have to use this script with 3 extra lines at the end instead of the the one linked on CSLM: https://gist.github.com/boformer/624eef5ffc8686cb5f12377f1be855f9

Make sure your updated assets are saved with exactly the same name as before.

Yes on the different sizes
slurmy Oct 4, 2018 @ 10:56pm
i'd like to see different sizes as well as shapes. Also one with sharp edges so they look nice against roads.
DRen72 Jul 5, 2018 @ 2:34pm
I think this is the best grass texture of its type in the workshop. I'd love to see a few more sizes for variety. (1x1), (3x3), (4x4), (8x8), etc.

That's just the way decals work unfortunately.

When I put it on grass the default grass texture goes through this decal and it looks weird. I know that I can put over the grass concrete or gravel texture and then apply this decal, but do we have any other (better) solution? Thank you

Hello to all. How do I remove the grass that forms the basic background of the game? When I place the prop it is always sees the grass over
Badi_Dea  [author] Dec 5, 2016 @ 3:32pm
@Supremacy if you wish to place it directly in game, you can use BP's More Beautification mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=505480567
Otherwise it's only availible in the asset editor for you to include in your own custom buildings.
jolly Supremacy Dec 5, 2016 @ 3:18pm
I have both of the mods, but it's not usable in game?
Badi_Dea  [author] Dec 4, 2016 @ 5:54pm
Thanks all!
And thinks eighthsin, that's exactly what I was trying to achieve
eighthsin Dec 4, 2016 @ 5:51pm
Everything about this is just excellently thought out and executed. They are easy to fit seamlessly together and have just enough transparency to blend in. The texture itself looks great and the footprint allows some flexibility with placement around pre-existing structures. Love it.

Use the search bar for 'decal' Beardmonkey and Ronyx69 have made some great farm field decals.
BoxHead Dec 1, 2016 @ 4:41am
Thank you for this decal. :)
kleiner nutten Dec 1, 2016 @ 3:52am
Are there any Bid Decals for farms?

Thank you!
Badi_Dea  [author] Nov 30, 2016 @ 7:22pm
@templeofdoom : yeah, using Ronyx's script to convert a prop into a decal will likely not produce the desired effect. If you want to make a slope conforming regular prop you can use the fence shader. I _think_ this mod tools script from Boformer is the correct one: https://gist.github.com/boformer/38d97d663779d48a21ed
Browse around all of his gists, there is some really good stuff there.

Thanks for helping out eachother :-) I'm glad you got it figured out, enjoy!
kelstr Nov 30, 2016 @ 2:31pm
nvm... Remove Decoration Sprites is what I'm after :)
kelstr Nov 30, 2016 @ 2:29pm
I'm using this in game... but I have that stupid grass in game that keeps "blowing" in the wind... anyone know if we can turn that off so I can see this decal better?
templeofdoom Nov 30, 2016 @ 11:58am
@Justboywithdream - of course you use it in game - it's a PROP. See in the upper right corner how it's classified? To access props in game BloodyPenguin created a mod so that the prop-access menu is available in game to manually plop props you have subscribed to.
templeofdoom Nov 30, 2016 @ 11:53am
Quick question Badi_Dea - do decals naturally have a "0" z height? Do they by design have to stay flat and flush to the ground and conform to it? If I wanted to make a decal like rocks or something is there a way to inject any height into it (through normals or something) or by design will they simply flatten out after adding the script?
