Real capacities - vanilla system cost

It's harder to port in TF2 because they haven't just divided the capacities by four, for what I've seen for now, and they changed their script for it. I am looking into it, nonetheless.

Will this mod be ported to transport fever 2?

Sorry, I wasn't specific. Yes, I was referring specifically to multi-compartment trucks. I have looked at ships as well, and it does not work with those either. Which is fine, that is a small amount of the vehicles I use and I love it for working with everything else!

As you can see with the first picture of the gallery up there, it works for me with the TGV, amongst all the other multi wagon trains.
If your problem is with multi-cargo containers (trucks or ships), it may not fully work with these. My first objective was to have real passengers value and no bugs .

This doesn't appear to work on vehicles with compartments. My programming skills are non-existent, but I'll take a look at the script code anyway.

WARNING TO ALL: This mod caused my game to crash when removed.

Well, it's been a long time since I touched this so I can't tell for sure, but I think you can adjust this by adjusting the code of the mod, to make a version of your own.

Tonage is sucks, on medium truck fill load 53 tones what the fuck!?

I manage to get profitable road vehicles with this mode. But I think it levels up a bit the difficulty with the way the price formula is done. So I mainly play on normal or easy modes.

I'm not sure what is going on but, After installing this mod all of my road vehicles started making huge losses. Even though they were all full. It seems the game cost system isn't doing the balance properly.

As far as I know, it still works.
JT Aug 24, 2018 @ 3:47pm
Is this mod still working?
Smgd Jun 28, 2018 @ 8:03pm
Is this only for passengers, right? I'm kinda bothered with a 12 wagon long train barelly filling a boat that is an eight its size.

a very nice mod, great work, but im actually looking for a mod, which only does that on buses. Cause now ma trains have to much capcity and don´t make a profit anymore. Is it possible to make a mod, which only makes real capacities on buses?
TelMan Mar 31, 2017 @ 2:00am
@shiftysquirrel, what is the name of the mod that expands the cap on stations? thanks :)
Carstelli Feb 23, 2017 @ 4:12am
Thx for the Mod
ShiftySquirrel Feb 19, 2017 @ 10:45am
@Christoph there is a mod i believe that expands the cargo cap of stations
Aeraxon Nov 30, 2016 @ 10:54am
hello,
is it possible to write options for just trams, just bus and so on?
i would like to use it for the in-town-transportation, as in big towns my trams are just to small. but i am fine (for now) with the trains, ships and airplanes.
i had a look into the mod, but for now i was not able to convert it into a "just tram and bus" mod.

thanks & regrads

But just to be clear, this is excellent work by @Klorid and FX2K and I'm very happy with the results.

Ok, so a couple things:

1 - I'm running into a problem with trans using this mod where the amount of cargo a train can pick up is a lot higher than the storage capacity of a platform of the same length; e.g. an 1850s American train composed of one Six-Wheels locomotive and seven stake cars fits on an 80-meter platform and carries 196 units of logs/steel/etc, but the 80-meter platform can only fit ~90 units of logs/steel/etc. Is there some way to change the storage capacity of platforms so that full-length trains will actually be useful in this mod?

2 - For the previous commenters who mentioned the high running costs (westbahnfilms, GFM-ROMMEL), there's an excellent mod by @rage2014 which brings down the running costs of train wagons. I've been using it and this mod by @Klorid together and other than the platform capacity issue described above I'm quite pleased with the results; trains actually feel realistic now and not exorbitantly overpriced.

That would be my future plan, but not quite easy to make (hard coded cost system). Can't garantee I'll succeed in it.
westbahnfilms Nov 22, 2016 @ 1:47pm
Can you make a version with a lower cost and running cost for the passenger coaches? They are too high. :)
shooter777RUS Nov 21, 2016 @ 8:52pm
Please, only for buses and trams:steamhappy:
