Finally, for the first time since I subscribed to this, these things are actually spawning on their own. Aaaaaand the volcano in Ragnarok is crawling with 'em. Is there a line in game.ini to reduce the spawn weight by about 90%?

Blackfoot: I think so. Also it doesn't get nerfed when you tame it; you can ride a full-strength Terra.

I think the mod isnt working properly I tamed one of those giant gigantosaurus, and it wont poo, so I cant craft the saddle, is there a command for spawning those? trough console?

@Ninnetyer Yes. The only problem are other dino mods. If you use great mods like annunaki the terrasaurus mod wouldnt work. If you use small dino mods like this one they work, if the dinos spawn in different spawn regions.

Is this clean and stackable?

@jbl2001 When I created the mod I had great problems to make the dino spawnable. I thouht it was because the rare spawning rate of the giganoto. I never saw any wild terrasaurus. As I changed the spawning area many weeks later I saw one in wildlife. I am not sure if there is a special entry for giganotos in the dev kit or the problem is somewhere else. Maybe I make a higher spawning rate with the next update but I am not sure that this will solve the problem.

This creature never spawned for me, even with 10x spawn rate.
Any idea?

@chanou.h I think the developer of ark had adjusted most dinos with the right proportion. And yes, its how I said, you have to make a total conversion mod and change every dino size. A lot of work

just look on wikipedia and reajust the size, is it to hard to make ?

@ chanou.h hmm, that would be a total conversion mod, that deleete every original dino. it would be a lot of work to change every dino and at least I dont know the exact sizes of all dinos. So I dont think I do something like that.

@chanou.h hehe, yes he is a big bad ugly creature. I used the turtle skin for his look. You can make much better skins if you use a extra programm. But in the dev kit you can just use the skins from ark.

@chanou.h Terrasaurus lay a lot of golden eggs. I used the poop function for that and set the poop time down. So he should lay a egg every two minutes. Its still not easy, but if you follow a wild terra for an hour you should have enough eggs

how can we tame it if we already need one to tame another ? (gold egg)

@dc040583 I have reduced the falling damage, so the terrasaurus can fall down a small mountain without getting rage :) And I have finally make him spawn regular on the map.

@Vas Costas Thanks, yeah, a separate no-rage mod is probably best if you can manage it. I have to say, the rage mechanic works poorly enough that I question its utility anyway, and that's not your fault; normal Giga rage doesn't work very well either. Your giga instantly kills you if you fall off a tiny lump of dirt, yet combat seldom if ever seems to make them rage at all. I know it CAN be done; somebody had a no-rage Giga mod out before, but it got deleted, no clue why.

@dc040583 I know this problem. Specially when I can see nothing than trees :) Probably I could change it in the dev kit, I think I saw an entry for this, but I am not realy sure. Otherwise Terrasaurus is a bad dangerous creature, so I dont really want to change this function and maybe many other people agree with this. I think about your idea to make a extra version without rage, but cant make some promisses, if and when I do anything like this.

I'm having a lot of fun with the dino. I play singleplayer though, which means it doesn't need to be balanced for PvP, so can you make a version without the rage mechanic? I'd love to be able to take it off the shoreline without being insta-killed every time I go over a hill. :)

@ninjapigg Ok, no, the warden needed more than one hit to kill the dino. But I tried to found a good level for terrasaurus to fight back. Level 10.000 was good to kill a broodmother. A warden should be beatable with a level 100.000

at one point annunaki made it so wardens would oneshot any dino from a different mod they said they fixed it tho maybe they put it back

@DarkEmblem No problem. I have just started a new game with annunaki and terrasaurus. and it seems that a level 1000 terrasaurus is killed instant by the monkey warden. And some alphas have so much health, that its not possible to kill them. Maybe the mod autor have changed some stats.

@DarkEmblem No, the stats can just be changed in the editor. But you can change the spawning level, I dont know waht level is the maximum, but level 5000 should be no problem for example. I tried with annunaki, and a level 1000 terrasaurus should be able to kill any warden

Am I able to buff the dino in some way to make the dinosaur stronger?
Since I use annunaki and whatnot, the terrasaurus is way less strong than I hoped to. So if I would be upgrade it in some way that would be very useful to me. Thanks in answering

@Deatheagle No, they have a little bit more health and damage than official wild gigas.. But levelling is still extreme low.
