@Felhasznalotakarok: I haven't tried it on multiplayer but it's just a map file so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
@jml: Always nice to hear man, thanks!
My thanks
@Joshua - Sorry man, I've long since stopped updating this map pack. You can tweak it yourself with Worldbuilder though. Just download the Civ SDK (Games - Tools, scroll through the list it's under Sid Meiers Civilization V SDK iirc) and load the map up in Worldbuilder. You can play around with the civs etc from there. Unfortunately it's not very user-friendly. If you have any specific questions about it though I'll be happy to help answer them!
US and i got yesterday and theres a couple of new resources. i would lend it to you man if i could, they should do that in steam, like the new ps4 thats coming out
Civs/CS:
- NA: America, Shoshone. Cahokia, Quebec.
- SA: Brazil, Maya. Panama City, Buenos Aires.
- Africa: Zulu, Egypt, Morocco. Songhai, Jerusalem, Mombasa, Kongo.
- Europe: Portugal, England, France, Poland, Sweden, Russia. Vatican City.
- Asia: Japan, China, Indonesia, India, Assyria, Arabia, Ottomans. Kabul, all the CSs currently in SE Asia.
Couple of balances to the map to account for the new Civs/CS/Natural Wonders (Siberia and Canada in particular have been nerfed). I'm a little worried about Indonesia but we'll toss them in and see what they make of Australia, New Zealand and some of those islands to the norht.
You could always add in more or different resources using worldbuilder though, so that's potentially an option. I can't remember if selecting the map but not hitting load scenario randomises resource placement - it very well might, so you could give that a go too.
Also, just a reminder that I'm always on the lookout for interesting screenshots of people playing a game on the map to display in the slideshow at the top. So if you have one you want to share make sure you send it over to me.
I have tried the V earth map, of which one fish resource was found on Spain plain but not at sea...
A Vanilla map has been added as has a Gods and Kings version with only 8 Civs and 16 City-States. The recommended map is still the Gods and Kings version with the Inca DLC with the GnK version without the Inca DLC a close second. I've tested all four (including the Vanilla version with the GnK DLC deactivated) and they all work perfectly well. I'm hoping that this will resolve your issues Dezert - let me know if it does.
@ h_duddy - also make sure to select Load Scenario and pick your difficulty setting after you pick your Civ. For some reason picking a Civ seems to reset the difficulty, I've no idea why.
@ h_duddy - When you go to the Mods section and activate the mod, the next selection you want is 'Set up game'. You'll have the option to pick the appropriate map there.
Thanks again!
