@C336 if you want to make good money and have the time for it, start building up a burlap skins set that camos in the forest biome that would also be able to be used as advantage in the upcoming rumoured jungle biome. Not only will you have many buyers, like the Arctic Raiders Burlap Set, but you will feed this “pay to win” skin era we are in. I literally sold out my entire inventory just for pay to win skins…

@Idle Hands honestly I'm surprised full camo sets even became a thing. Back in the dark ages when I first made this skin FP seemed so adamant about not accepting camouflage clothing sets or weapon skins that included glow sights exactly because they would become purchasable game advantage.

It's a nice skin that's nice, but it's also not a part of any set in stone set that people would collect, and running old clothing that used to be cool is a disadvantage nowadays.

Until Facepunch makes the game's colour scheme better we're going to see the way pathed by camouflage first then style after.

the reason this chest plate fell out of fashion isn't because it's bad it's that Blackout is a complete set and people are obviously going to use that instead of this.
If you want one get one, if you want profit look elsewhere.

I guess it bears repeating once every year or so that even as the creator, I have zero input or control over item prices; Facepunch controls everything in their store, just as marketplace prices are entirely subject to the whims of speculators. The creator revenue share only applies to the direct sales made during the initial stint in official item store.

All that said though, I'm beyond humbled that people still have so much enthusiasm for this item even after all this time. Thank you so much guys. :)

Good on the Blackout creator. I haven't played or produced content for Rust in years, but it is nice to see tacti-cool style skins make a bit of a comeback after all this time. I hope his skins are as successful as mine were. :)

That said, I haven't received a whole lot of interest in my admittedly simple design style in a long time since the Rust workshop really took off I'm afraid. I'm not so sure if they're even capable of getting the dev's attention considering their age in relation to the trending and popular lists.
