I agree with the others, there is too much walking in this map.

I could see making a chamber from just the laser puzzle at the end. In the interest of player friendliness I'd add another floor-level panel on the wall for portals. I had to backtrack moderately far, to the turret area, to use one.

There you go, 1 portalable surface to greatly reduce a lot of the walking (I added more but the one was really all that was necessary)

Some extra portal surfaces in the main laser area would help that. I thought of adding some but i didn't cause i didn't want to invite unintended solutions. I'm gonna go in and add a few for convenience though, it shouldn't take too long and shouldn't be too much of a problem to the puzzle.
