What happened to the 1.0 version of this mod? It disappeared today.

Oh there definitely are a few mountain roof removal mods. I just like the mechanics of this one, and was wondering if anyone was even looking at updating it.

this was great mod for removing roof just to get my solar panels work inside mountain so the raiders wont destroy them with mortar. and in mean while get materials to make art and walls ''cheaply''.

That's thick roof, we were talking about thin roof, read the whole thread please.

This mod is made to remove Overhead Mountain, it can't be deconstructed by "no roof zone"

No roof zone says it only prevents new roofs from being built, not deconstructing whats already there

so, this only seems to remove mountain roof, not the actual 'rock roof(thin)'.

Mining Bots will work at these buildings and mine the mountain roof for you if you have Mining Bots installed.

Last version as in you are not gonna update this anymore? I'm gonna be real sad when A18 hits =/

Well, you are mining out an entire mountain, so I would expect there to be a shit ton of chunks.

nope, didnt change anything, still not able to put it under montain roof

well, i was able to research it, also i have that drill in my build list, but thats all. i will ry to put it higher in mod order

it is not working for me, im trying to place it under overhead montain but im getting msg that i need to place it exaclty "under overhead montain", so and item is red for me

it's hardcoded and based on a random chance. It could happen every tick with a chance of 1 in 1000.

Erdelf, I noticed that you posted that A17 will be the last version. Could you please tell me which folder/file/field needs to be changed to adjust the number of chunks dropping? I've dug around in the mod, but have been unable to figure it out.

I just started a tribal game with this mod active. It seems a little strange that this research has no prerequisites and is listed as a neolithic technology?

Did I do something wrong with the drill? I used it on a mountain roof (which left a ton of chunks :P) but still have a roof over where it drilled.

I love this mod -- it solves the problem of overhead mountains AND needig more stone. Great job.

Hi erdelf. Love the mod! Price on drill and having to be manned is great. I noticed two issues...

1) Build time on the drill was 0.

2) Far too many chunks being created. Would be better if we got 0-2 chucks per 3x3 section mined out. If it's difficult to code this, then an optional mod or setting to simply turn off chunks would also work.
