There seems to be a bug, when I mouse over any of the recepies you SAY were removed (still showing up) they are crashing my game. Any idea when you'll fix this?
Jerm Nov 9, 2012 @ 6:38pm
Thanks for the info Kaerius, I did not know why the game was eatting all my other saves and snacking on my one good one.
Ragecrab Nov 3, 2012 @ 9:05am
you should add the conversion recipes back or make another mod with them because i hate having 28149120489012384 useless items taking inventory space just because i ''might'' need them later and since i dont have the dlc it kinda sucks also i liked the thing that you can transform metals into other ones because of the same reason
remexre Oct 29, 2012 @ 5:31pm
thx!
Kaerius  [author] Oct 29, 2012 @ 2:50pm
Go right ahead. You don't need my permission. :)
remexre Oct 29, 2012 @ 3:52am
If it's not supposed to be a cheat mod, can I make a cheat mod similar to yours for inventory management? Essentially it'll add all the things like pear>apple, plum>apple, apple>plum, apple>pear recipes back.

Re: Jemmy350

The problems with saves are due to changes in the saving system in patch 1.1.2 and I think are related to simply having too many recepies(this is a hunch, nothing definite). This mod has a lot of recepies, so combining it with other mods that have recepies may cause this.
Jerm Oct 27, 2012 @ 5:16pm
can you add some ones for making the gears(cogs or mechanisms) for the things?
Jerm Oct 27, 2012 @ 5:15pm
my save is not working... this mod is unable to load or something
wpb30635 Aug 27, 2012 @ 10:05am
I miss the conversions. I guess i will have to get use to not having them. Saddness
Dusty Tomes Aug 24, 2012 @ 11:08pm
Aww....I died a little at that....oh well...think you could make a cheat mod for what it used to be like? I ask because I'm a cheating pansy who's horrible at modding....
Kaerius  [author] Aug 24, 2012 @ 8:02pm
It was never intended to be a cheat mod(although it was a consequence of how it worked), merely a frustration reducer due to inventory management. Now that we have the pocket dimension(infinite space), this is less of a problem(although granted, not gone completely).
Dusty Tomes Aug 24, 2012 @ 7:47pm
So, I have a question....any plans to reset the way you could turn everything into Iron and back, or not? I'm a little confused on that...
Kaerius  [author] Aug 24, 2012 @ 12:29pm
Updated. Although at this point I'm not sure the fix was necessary anymore, in any case it is in. Also, most conversion recepies are gone.
Kaerius  [author] Aug 12, 2012 @ 1:01pm
When the 1.1.2 patch comes out I'll be able to upload the fix.
Shifty Sharpe Aug 12, 2012 @ 10:48am
any news on how long till this gets fixed, really want to use it, thanks
OmniNegro Aug 5, 2012 @ 2:09pm
That does suck. But thank you for teling us directly. I wish there was something we could do to help.
Kaerius  [author] Aug 5, 2012 @ 10:18am
Hmm ran into a bit of an issue. I can't update mods in workshop currently because I'm using a hotfix exe that isn't linked to steam, so running the -publisher flag doesn't work.
Kaerius  [author] Aug 5, 2012 @ 10:10am
In the currently released form it prevented me from saving, I made some changes and got it compatible, I'm going to upload an updated one soon.
OmniNegro Aug 5, 2012 @ 3:01am
Since I am Banned from the forums without knowing why, I cannot ask there if this works with the new DLC. I am going to limit my mods to only those that confirm they work with the new version and DLC. Thanks in advance for any answers.
SpookySunday Jul 29, 2012 @ 7:52am
Ah, thanks for that information.
Kaerius  [author] Jul 29, 2012 @ 3:59am
Re: SpookyNooky unfortunately the tools to make that are not available. Inventory space is hardcoded. The next expansion, which is due to be released very soon does however give you a pocket dimension where you can store things. When that is released I will update this mod and remove most conversion recepies, I'll keep a few alchemical ones, and the trap disassembly ones, with some modification to the latter(since iron ingots won't be convertable anymore).
SpookySunday Jul 29, 2012 @ 3:27am
I wish there would be a mod with just inventory expansion and nothing more. Would be awesome.
VioletDeadly Jul 25, 2012 @ 6:28pm
I just recently started playing DoD and i am def. frustrated on item space. If i die again I am gonna try this, thank you :) Just wish someone would come up with a 2nd tab bag or something.
JonnyD73 Jul 15, 2012 @ 11:04am
This helps a lot. I always hate not having enough space to carry all the ingredients for stuff.
Peter Jennings Jul 14, 2012 @ 3:13pm
Nice
gotBurner Jul 13, 2012 @ 4:44pm
Thanks!

Kaerius  [author] Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:02pm
Fixed the loophole. Changed ingot to ingot recepies so silver/gold/electrum/steel are worth 2 iron and platinum/aluminum are worth 3 iron. Removed a duplicate recepie (for corruption fluid trap).

Apologies if this garbles your crafting lists on existing saves.
Kaerius  [author] Jul 9, 2012 @ 5:21pm
PS: My recepies are scattered between tinkeringItraps), ingot press(ingot transmutation, lockpick mold), and alchemy(fruits, gems, alchemy reagents).
Kaerius  [author] Jul 9, 2012 @ 5:19pm
Wolvenmoon - I haven't come across any incompatibilities and I run both. The difference is my trap to reagent recepies are in tinkering, and his are in ingot press, although to be fair I edited out his trap to reagent recepies for good measure.

I'll fix that loophole shortly Hollow Ichigo.
Twichigo Jul 9, 2012 @ 11:42am
A loophole.
1 Iron Ingot ---> 1 Electrum Ingot
1 Electrum Ingot ---> 2 Iron Ingots
Infinite amount of all Ingots, once you got at least one of them.
Please fix it.
Wolvenmoonmoon Jul 5, 2012 @ 11:50pm
It appears to be an incompatibility with the mod "Meltdown", I'm wondering if there's a way to avoid losing my save while getting compatibility with this mod.
Wolvenmoonmoon Jul 5, 2012 @ 11:35pm
Under which tool? If none of them, how to I unselect all of them?
Kaerius  [author] Jul 5, 2012 @ 11:31pm
It's crafting... just open your crafting UI, the recepies are there.
Wolvenmoonmoon Jul 5, 2012 @ 11:09pm
It's checked and all. How do I make it work in game? I must be looking in the wrong place.
Kaerius  [author] Jul 5, 2012 @ 11:04pm
I doubt it wolvenmoon. Not even running Crafting Guru should cause a problem, more likely you haven't installed properly, or haven't checked the box in the mod launcher. Also note that this is not a skill mod.
Wolvenmoonmoon Jul 5, 2012 @ 9:28pm
I can't seem to figure out where this works...maybe I have a conflicting mod?
LeadPaintChip Jul 5, 2012 @ 10:13am
Thank you!
Kaerius  [author] Jul 4, 2012 @ 11:15pm
Press subscribe. Start the client through steam. Press MODS. Check the box for the mod. Play.
VioletDeadly Jul 4, 2012 @ 9:42pm
ok so i am new how do i download a mod?
Kaerius  [author] Jul 4, 2012 @ 3:07pm
They're changed. It's the more elegant solution because it means I don't have to add new items which would be added to the loot tables.
jpinard Jul 4, 2012 @ 2:24pm
Does this mean everything becomes the same item? Or is it more like a bag for each type of item? ingots, fruit, cheese, gems, etc. I really hope it's the bag concept as I don't want everything to magically change into the same thing.
Kaerius  [author] Jul 3, 2012 @ 10:09am
17th orb: You can do this very easily yourself. Just rename the .dat file in my documents/gaslampgames/dungeons of dredmor/steam_workshop/subscribed to .zip, unzip it to my documents/gaslampgames/dungeons of dredmor/mods (lowercase foldername in case you must create it), and manually edit the xml files, just deleting everything but the shoebomb references in itemDB.xml, craftDB.xml and spellDB.xml.
Wiggler-sempai Jun 30, 2012 @ 9:38pm
Not going to use this mod as such, but I would request you make another mod just for the shoe bomb!
Kaerius  [author] Jun 30, 2012 @ 10:37am
Klaste: could be an idea,,,
1 copper/tin/zinc/bronze/brass for 1 iron (I don't want to go less because brass/bronze is actually very useful, also it would mean you end up with a single left dirtying up the inventory, unless I switch the "base" metal).
2 iron for 1 steel/gold/silver/electrum
3 iron for 1 aluminum/platinum

Thoughts?
Klaste Jun 30, 2012 @ 2:32am
You couldve done sort of an "ingot currency" thing with the ingots, where steel is worth 3 iron, iron is worth 2 bronze, etc. Then it would feel less cheaty and more managy. Just a thought. :)
Swizard Jun 29, 2012 @ 5:42pm
'plain inventory management recepies', you can always upload this as a seperate mod :>
Thanks for uploading!
Kaerius  [author] Jun 29, 2012 @ 3:18pm
Note that after the next expansion comes out, I might update this to remove most of the plain inventory management recepies(since the expansion will give us a pocket dimension). The other stuff will remain though, and a few of the alchemical ooze ones will stay(like chalk, coal, and plastic->ooze), but ingot<>ingot conversion will surely disappear.
Somnioid Static Jun 29, 2012 @ 2:59pm
I don't consider this a cheat so much as a much requested inventory expander, which people have requested.
