doesnt work,so i change the GlobalDefines.xml file in X:\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC\Expansion2\Gameplay\XML
serch BARBARIAN_MAX_XP_VALUE and change 30 to the num of MAX XP what you want

@spica7601 Because with raging barbarians on you can just farm camps and get massively overpowered units (Granted others can do it too, but it negates the usefulness of high level units) without trying

With Brave New World, this mod no longer shows up in the mods list after you subscribe.

I don't understand why they limited experience accumulation from battles with barbarians. It is not ecologically valid.

One of the most important mods for this game imo.

Yeah, it doesn't work anymore, nor does it show up in the mods page when loading. All the other mods I've subscribed tyo are working fine, all except this one. :(

Why would I conitnue to put raging barbarians if I can't profit from it anymore than cheap culture points with Honor policy?

Unfortunately it just plain did nothing! I like playing with raging barbarians and it was a real letdown!

This make it worth while to have a unit keep hunting barbarians and have something to show for it.

@geralt1981: If you have the SDK installed you could easily fix this yourself! Add SQL game rules that look like this for the barbarian xp mod:

UPDATE Defines Set Value = -1 WHERE Name = 'BARBARIAN_MAX_XP_VALUE';

And for the explorer instead of warrior:

UPDATE Eras Set StartingExploreUnits = 1 WHERE Type = 'ERA_ANCIENT';
UPDATE Eras Set StartingDefenseUnits = 0 WHERE Type = 'ERA_ANCIENT';

Use all 3 lines and you get both mods!

Is this Gods and Kings compatable?

check Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS if theres a civmod file in there called Unlimited Barbarian XP extract it using winzip rar or whatever and it will start working.

BTW to fix the underlaying problem you need to empty Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache and repair your Sid Meiers installation.

It's no act to extract the file manually (found the solution by myself and wanted to share it here, but SB_BLEYKY_CRO was faster ;)
Just a suggestion. Why not making a self-extracting version like other mods here in the workshop? Would be more comfortable for the users. just my 2c

Start workshop-mod buddy-tools-publish to steam workshop.
use the 7zip to pack the files.

Place it manually in mod folder and extract it will work.

I can't figure out how to load things into the workshop but im sitting on a LOT of old modbuddy mods, what a pity... Great mod, and it works with G+K as well.
