"Cities Skyline I".
Because it cost nothing your cool, but if say commercial or industrial need workers delete or turn off this building to release workers. If you have unemployed workers, simply place this building and they will have jobs.
Now the separate matter not related to your employment agency directly: did you see my picture I linked with all the 25 year olds that said they left the whole map ie all the 25 year olds on my fav cims mod that said they are now FAR FAR AWAY??? Why only 25yrs leave? That means the 25yrs people have left my map completely never to return! That is what is the game killer. Do you know about this separate phenomena???
Please help Pop this is teh game hkiller for me when cims hit 25 they leave and then i need outside 26 years to start again from that age. In other words all my effort in ediucating them with good schools is wasted as highly eductaed people with jobs leave wtf why??? This has happened for the last 4 maps that i can remember.
When I bulldozed the employment agency my cims go immediately in unemployment then it looks like they are leaving staright away as it says minus 700 in red for population and minus around 500 for working people leaving but after a few weeks it balanced again and then started to go up but it seems i still lost some precious highly educated cims from my map. Maybe i should cut all outside connections so they cant escape?
One of those mysteries, I suppose.
On the other hand, I read a review of the game by someone who built a fully functional city ... with residential zoning for *one* household. The buses ran; the cops patrolled; the firemen put out fires; and when his citizens died, the hearses did their thing (the way he described it, the hearse was there the pick up the second one before he had even died).
In my other city (current population over 73K), the Population tab consistently shows over 700 demand for more workers. This is the case whether unemployment is at 2% or 20%.
I'm speculating here, but I wonder whether these "jobs" are from abandoned buildings.
Does turning off a building *actually* release its workers? You'd think so, but that not how it seems to me (*). I'm speaking of buildings in general -- while I've subscribed to this asset, I've not actually used it yet. I am thinking of using it in my new city, since I want to increase the population but I don't really want to put in more factories just yet. So, that question occurred to me, and in testing it, the result I see is that even turned off, "The Employment Agency" retains the workers it had, and indeed gains new ones if if has vacancies and there are unemployed cims.
(*) in observing other buildings.
