Adanar Oct 23, 2024 @ 5:38am
As below there's the issue that this mod does not affect the AI for some reason. If you want to handicap yourself for a challenge its great but otherwise its not helpful.
Avi Aug 18, 2023 @ 9:23pm
When will this mod be exiting beta?

Looking forward to the full release.
bloodchill10 Aug 11, 2020 @ 12:21am
This mod doesn't do what's advertised. While you will be affected by the increased the science, the AI civs still have normal production and science research. I couldn't even win games on King difficulty because the AI's were in the medieval era while I was still in the entry of the Classical era.

Might have been asked before, but does this mod work with Vox Populi?
WanderSeth Jan 18, 2020 @ 10:04pm
This mod seems to crash, I'm guessing it's incompatible with another mod I use, Future Worlds {LINK REMOVED}
Mattler~~ Jul 22, 2019 @ 6:01am
neat mod however it doesnt seem to work propperly... I was in prehistoric era researching fishing and some civ just built the great library ..... what
Tankpunch Mar 3, 2019 @ 9:41am
Nice Idea, but as Sobleskeyk already said, it does only lower your own research speed, the Bots can research at normal speed and bcause of this theyre way stronger than you.

If the Bots would have the same reduction, this mod would be amazing!
FriezaSouls May 16, 2018 @ 5:30pm
The mod isn't good for doing what it claims, it doesn't scale the other civilizations research the same
mhrbnbngs Apr 1, 2018 @ 1:58pm
Is there a way we can JUST have the Historic speed and not the other fancy stuff?
Hazel The Amazel Jun 21, 2017 @ 12:27pm
does it work with mods that add new eras?
spaceweezle Jun 9, 2017 @ 2:59am
Was looking awesome until I read the "75% of production" part... Anybody figured out how to edit that back to normal ?
Jaded Valkyrie Jun 6, 2017 @ 1:57am

funky pants Apr 22, 2017 @ 11:06pm

miep miep Mar 20, 2017 @ 3:23pm

sgt.solvent Mar 11, 2017 @ 11:09pm

Does the mod change the difficulty of the game ???
Alabresim Jan 18, 2017 @ 4:37am
This is probably my favorite mod. I hope that the author will bring it to Civ VI when possible.
Illuminare Jan 15, 2017 @ 10:40am
You should make a version that's balanced for vox populi
iamdagoloth Jan 11, 2017 @ 7:49pm
For some reason the game will not let me load up any saves that used this mod. Suggestions?
ZNihilist Aug 26, 2016 @ 4:07pm
Hello, I have a question for you, is it possible to modify your mod (that would be me by editing some value or another) to make that the research factor is different for different eras? I always noticed that the further you go in time, the faster it becomes to research technologies.
So is it possible?
That Guy Aug 14, 2016 @ 2:41pm
+silentmayan he probably had more science than the preview picture
silentmayan Aug 6, 2016 @ 5:27pm
did they shorten the length for research? I watched a video and the starting research was 33 turns, but it's only 10 for me.
Sophia Snuggles Jul 21, 2016 @ 2:00am
Does this mod effect custom eras like the prehistoric era mod?
[COBR] Pancho Jul 14, 2016 @ 1:02am

Dr. Generic Jun 25, 2016 @ 4:21pm
I dunno what happened but this mod seems to have broken in the last month. Really hoping it updates since this is literally my #1 favorite mod.
cunoesse Jun 24, 2016 @ 5:28pm
I can't choose a historic game speed
Pavelo Jun 4, 2016 @ 2:56am
Does the historic speed show up on the really advanced set up mod?
Dr. Spaceman May 21, 2016 @ 3:59pm
This mod is great, even if I am in the Middle Ages in 1700 BC
El Veneno May 12, 2016 @ 2:32pm
Does this mod work well?
Chasp Apr 27, 2016 @ 2:49pm
Is this mod very similar to what we see in the into the renaissance scenario?
Shrapnel Mar 25, 2016 @ 4:34pm
USE ADVANCED SETUP! For people this is necessary for it to load properly, just wanted to let some of you guys know :).
th-undercover Mar 13, 2016 @ 10:55am
Liked the idea, however this implementation lucks balance. Too bad it seems like this mod is not updateing anymore
Ravidalfs Mar 12, 2016 @ 8:44pm
Is it possible to set the tech speed per civ instead of era?
Wigglytuffed Feb 19, 2016 @ 9:01pm
I can find historic game speed. Am I blind?
Dipperdapper Feb 10, 2016 @ 7:55am
Carracks in 2180 BC. 10/10 would nuke pikemen again.
Fragproof Jan 16, 2016 @ 9:14am
Why change Wealth and Science production to 75%? Was it necessary for balance or just a way to increase your power?
Chappy Jan 16, 2016 @ 12:00am
are there any slow science mods that work in multiplayer?
margass Nov 28, 2015 @ 9:51am
THANK YOU! Question: Is this mod compatible with the "Eras" mods, that prevent progressing to certain eras (e.g Eras - Industrial makes the Industrial Era the last era accessable to the player). And is it compatible with the Prehistoric Mod?
Karas667 Nov 15, 2015 @ 12:29pm
is there a way to get multiplayer on this mod to work again? or does anybody know when it will be re-added?
Sophia Snuggles Nov 12, 2015 @ 5:28pm
When you play on the other game speeds with the mod loaded, do they run as they would if the mod was not loaded at all or would the mod break them?
VESTA Oct 28, 2015 @ 2:53am
Is it compatible with the community balance patch?
DonutRobot Oct 10, 2015 @ 1:22pm
Thank you.
Profestom Oct 7, 2015 @ 5:19am
To make this 'historic' you need to increase the cost of policies as well, if it's not increased civilizations get access to powerful bonuses too early and, in the long run, end up in later eras too early. The Grand Campaign mod works like this and you get to the right tech at the right time.
Ryker Aug 31, 2015 @ 6:38pm
any chance we could get epic instead of standard game time as the base
ThePendulum Aug 16, 2015 @ 9:15pm
Is this ever going to be playable in multiplayer?
Neol Jul 6, 2015 @ 6:41pm
It is 110 AD and everybody is in Renaissance Era. I don't think this is historic game mod :(
mortis1896 Jul 3, 2015 @ 2:54pm
Does it work for brave new world
