Game crashes a lot using this sadly. half way through games on anything past a small map gets bad.

Newly encountered bugs:
Resources always seem to generate sparce regardless how resources are set.
City Infrastructure does not contribute food to cities
-2 food from buildings when there are no buildings with a -2 food yield or negetave food yield

This mod is fantastic, but I encountered the following problems:
1: Health seems to imitate civ 5's health system, forcing what appears to be a soft cap on the number of cities you can settle (no more playing tall). The bonus health helps a bit, but if possible, id reccomend switching the bonus health options in game menu to -25% unhealth and -50% unhealth possibly instead of granting bonus global health to make wide play more feasable.
2: Polystralia's leader agreements do not seem to work with Codex's trade capacity system. Unsure if this is possible to change.
3: Most of the civilopedia entries are empty. My apologies if this is not something that can be fixed.

mod is super B even so far. I am running into a problem where for some reason my clinics or my old earth relics get deconstructed when I conquer an enemy city. Mildly annoying, but that's the only bug I've found.

Anybody else here having problems with combining Progenitor Artifacts? I think I created one special item with them early on, but I've got six more that won't combine into anything. Sure, I could extract the results from each individually, but I'd like to see what new abilities and wonders can get unlocked with groups of three.

Been having issues with Codex around turn 629 with the Kavithan Protectorate causing a full freeze without crash handler when they attempt to process their turn. I know it is something specific to Kavithan causing this as I used IGEditorBE to temporary remove them from the game and it was able to progress, plus the last thing recorded in net_message_debug is Kavitha starting her turn.

Lua.log gives no indications apart from high memory usage, but Database.log reports the following in the last two lines. Is there is some-kind of error occurring while trying to handle endgame affinity?

I love this mod! Makes this game even more interesting! Is there any way to play it in multiplayer? BE does not support mods in multiplayer but Anchor Ceti does that by installing itself as a DLC expansion. Is it possible to do something like that with this mod too?

Is titanium made a lot rarer? I'm taking the loadout that shows titanium without tech and it's not been in sight in 5 starts. What's the point of this option?

@Dougie I have this problem with alien units from other mod. Don't know if it help you but for me entering to city screen and exit it help to reload unit action menu.

Hi, thank you for your imput, it didnt work but after reading a post from 2017, the problem turned out to be my "ë" in my windows username. I had to create an other user and it works!

Hello, I might be too late to get an answer but i might as well try, I'd love to try the mod out, but every time i start a game, the game log pops up, stating 'you have not yet completed any games' and i cannot remove this window, nor do anything in fact, forcing me to alt+f4, does someone have a clue? i loaded mods twice as required. Thanks

This certainly seems like the most popular mod back in the day, nowadays all it does is crash my game with unhandled exception errors all the time. RIP mod

I can not pillage alien nests, use the workers to build, anything. cant make units fortify or have any screen for them except one that has a bunch of buttons that do nothing and say strange things. it makes the mod not playable for me.

Favorite mod troublez can bring on real headaches. Hope you are able to get it figured out ... Running it in Linux has taught me the value of persistence and patience in such endeavors.

Amazing mod, but it keeps crashing every 30-60 turns. I'm at turn 202 in my first game using the mod and I've had 5 crashes so far. The only mods I'm playing with are the 5 in the codex pack.

@mastarfin, it is confusing to me that the says that by placing a unit on this tile OR owning it stops the spawning. The trigger for the placing the unit on top of it doesn't seem to work

Yes. You do have options in the game setup for completely removing leaches and a few other options regarding them as well --- if I recall correctly. Haven't played in a wee bit so it's fuzzy.

IF the infested site is within the borders of your city you can build over it - this will remove/replace it.

How do you clear out infested sites. They don't have a pillage option and setting a unit on top of them doesn't remove it either

Is this mod still working corectly today?
I have several problems:
- i can biuld only one building for the entire game
- i can not wait turn by any units, i must spend all movement points
- i can not do expeditions

The empire manager ratios between food and energy, culture and energy, and science and energy are busted. Energy is far too overvalued here. it is valued at a 1:1 ratio, when it should be valued at a 2:1 or maybe even a 3:1 ratio. Right now, theres no reason for people to not max out energy production and just buy everything.

You could fix this by fixing the ratios, or by adding a reason for people to not go on an energy binge, or by reducing the energy that spies bring in. One fix might be too limit how much energy people can store by the number of cities they have, and a building that can be constructed in their cities.

Honestly, this deserves to be its own civ game, and the modder needs to be hired by official game studios for balancing their games. I would pay them $20 if I could. Just for the fact that they did such an awesome job.

Minor feedback is that the powercreep towards endgame is a bit too much, as well allowing too many units to bleed in from cross specializations. For example, I think that there should be a limited number of affinity points. I think maybe at max... 18 affinity points allowed? This would force people to make the choice of what affinity they are going for, instead of maxing out all affinities and getting overloaded with multiple units that all do the same job.

@Umbrastar Possibly. I remember setting up a modded game with some friends years ago, I found something about Civ5 and a way to setup a mod to be seen by the game as DLC, which allowed it to have an effect even in multiplayer. It worked, BE is kind of a reskinned Civ5. I don't recall what mods it works with, so it might just be things like the UI improvement mod or custom factions. You'll have to do some googling.

This mod doesn't play well almost all other mods. Have you tried playing it with only Codex to see if the same error happens?
