Found a bug with Castile: if you are losing gold, upon taking a city the bonus gold "reward" will actually cause you to lose gold. I fixed it by going into the "JFD_Castile_Functions.lua" and changing the "goldreward" to utilize "GetTotalFaithPerTurn()" that is used for the faith reward. Since faith can't ever be negative, this fixes the issue. Still fits with the flavor I'd say too.

Has anyone else used the Castile mod? I'm using it with Iska's Reign of Heritage mod, and I noticed that apparently training Conquistador's is supposed to grant you a free naval unit, but that never happens. However, on the here, there's nothing in the Conquistador info about a free naval unit so I was wondering if it was supposed to be there or not.

I don't know if you're still editing these, but Philips Spain is pretty nice! I like that it works with the YnAEMP mod and the seminary allows him to also pursue a culture victory. Strong faith output and pretty good with war with the enhanced Tercio.

However, the Castile civ seems lacking. It benefits alot from aggression which is cool, but in the early game its important to get a religion, which kinda makes you choose passiveness over aggression. Also, it has nothing to benefit another type of victory (science, diplo, or culture) and its not compatible with YnAEMP. is it possible to change that? Thanks ^__^

@King of Crystals Just buy the Spain and Inca pack. There's a Steam Sale, no real excuse not to have The Inca nor all DLC

Hey um is there a way to change the dependencies? It says Spain and Inca pack are a dependency but in G&K you get Spain. So while I'm not missing any required civ for the mod I can't use it. I would like to change it myself but I don't know how.

Interesting mod. What was your motivation for making it? Philip II was undoubtedly an important Spanish king, but I thought that Isabella was an excellent choice to represent unified Spain. The defining points of her and Ferdinand's rule were the expulsion of the last Moors and the unification of Aragon and Castile. Moreover, she has often been viewed as the one who wore the pants in that marriage, so I thought she was a perfect representation of Spain as a national entity. Thoughts?

@Aaronnum I I think it's a bug, because I've had Franklin D acting as usual when controlled by an AI, (trade routes, unfair trade, declearing war on me after said unfair trade was attempted).

Whenever I play a customized match and I put this civ as an AI controlled one, it doesn't do anything. Nor anyone of the other civs. Is that a bug? Or the custom civs are only meant to be played by humans and not AI?

I'd prefer if the loading screen for Castile said Kingdom of Castile, or better yet Crown of Castile.
