Now if only it would work with the Gaia stuff...
https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/ingame-editor.30070/
Put the .civ5mod file in a new folder (e.g. named "IGEv46") in \documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\
Make sure to delete any older IGE versions (they will also exist in a folder in MODS).
I have a lot of mods installed so it might be an issue on my mind. FWIW, all of the mods used to work fine with the workshop version of IGE.
And if you do know how, and are kind enough to say how...then pretend you are explaining it to a child...tell me exactly where to go and what to click.

Mods in most every game (not just Civ5) are notorious for being incompatible with each other, and IGE is no different. Most mods today did not exist when IGE was written so yeah, there can be problems. I myself would love to play with both Gaia and IGE but at this time, they are not compatible...they used to be but changes in Gaia changed that and so until the author of Gaia decides to fix things then I must decide which to use.
This is Part 2.
You need to state the circumstances of YOUR installation...what operating system? Win10?11? Home? Pro? Linux? And what other mods are you using? Gaia? Vox P?
This Part 1 of my reply. Continue to Part 2...
I stopped playing civ 5, years ago, but recently loaded it up and started playing it again, I soon remembered why I had stopped playing it...
I am not someone who wants to beat the game in 5 moves in deity mode, IDC.
I'm more of a chill-N-click player, on easy mode, just enjoying my time.
And then the stupid AI spamming of religious leaders kicks in, pretty soon I am totally stressed out.
So I looked up mods, and saw that this was immensely popular.
WOW! No wonder! Beautiful, professional and elegant UI.
I maxed out my Buddhist cities, and it's back to chill-N-click!!
TY TY TY
Yeah there's currently an issue making IGE and Gaia's core mod incompatible.
No fix yet but it's planned apparently. Check the discussion feed on Gaia's for better follow-up
Assets\DLC\Expansion2\UI\InGame\InfoTooltipInclude.lua: 123: attempt to compare number with nill
I'm not sure what it means. I'm running it with the Gai's Sapiens mods and it's components. I did not have this issue last week when playing. However, I recently uninstalled and reinstalled the game along with the same mods and now this happens. How might I fix this?
I hope someone does something similar for Civ VII when the mod tools become available.
The editor does not seem to show up in more.

I've subscribed to this mod here some years ago but it hasn't updated past version v.39
How did you install v46?
"IGE couldn't start, probably because of another mod.
- Please report it on Steam or CivFanatics with error below and the mod name so that I can fix it quickly.
