To be precise, some Alicesoft's Rance games are visual novels with Role playing elements. You may call it a role playing game, others will call it a visual novel but to round it off, i prefer to call it eroge.

I'm not aware of any Rance visual novels, they're all RPGs.

You should just ask your question here http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/forum/129-rpg-maker-mv/ as l can't answer that since l never got that bug and no screenshots/details on what plugins you use doesn't help either.

Heres what happenes specificly on it (it still doesnt work with core) i go into the game, and then a few seconds later, a black bar appears and flashes for a bit.

You should check out some major general plugins like Yanfly Core Engine

Try fitting your resolution to a native window one like 1280x720 or 800x600.

Er... off topic, but i have a new RPG im making, and whenever i go into the game, theres a big black bar on the top of the screen. This didnt happen in my other RPGS, probably because there older. could you give me any help?
