Die, those are some good ideas. I'll probably be picking up Dragonborn in the summer sale and so I'll have everything set up then. I might do some modding then, I've got a few interesting mods that aren't finished that need completing.

Thanks for the new ideas, Die Albtraum, the mod creator should take that in to account in another mod. Also yeah, the guards are all rude everywhere, it's partly why i kind of murder one every now and then when nobody is watching.

The guy below me is a smart ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

It's a good start, but far from compleate. consider the fallowing:

1) gaurds will still make fun of you for being the beer fetcher of the compainions even when you're the harbinger. (they do the same when your the archmage, but nords in general make fun of mages so that's not really an issue. the companions on the other hand are respected by every nord. they would never insult the harbinger to his/her face.)

2) gaurds will comment on the fur growing out of your ears, smelling like a wet dog or you'r unsetaling wolfish grin even after you've been cured of lycenthropy.

3) gaurds comment of skill that they have no way of knowing how good you are at them.
If I have my sneak and pickpocket at level 70, the gaurds arn't going to know about it.

I kind of wish there was a fame and infamy cout like in oblivion. then it would be really easy to adjust the level of rudeness the gaurds show to you.

Good! Im sick of those gaurds constantly saying "Favor the bow eh!" just because my skill in it is past 30. All of my skills are past 30 and I never use that freaking bow!! I slash, electrocute, and sick my bodyguards on my enemies! Good mod!

Yes, I think that mixed in with an unhealthy amount of "let me guess/sweetrolls", "arrow to knees", and out of context "you smell like a dog"; would add some 'lore based' humour for when you're rolling a new char....or is that just vanilla...

What, like they comment on your skills even when those skill are level 1?

Love this mod. It fixed a lot of my annoyances with guards.

No, no, no... Guards are supposed to be condescending! Thats where the fun in the games is. But thats just my opinion, so I have no problem with this mod or it's users. Also, my alchemy is 16 and guards think I fancy myself an alchemist. It's doesn't start at level 30. It starts a whole lot sooner.

The guards should only speak when spoken to, and they should only tell you about dangerous locations to avoid, ask "What do you need"(maybe open up a dialogue box where you can ask for directions)and say "citizen", maybe daedric artifacts comments, because it shocks them out of their posture

maybe a "guards don't know you" mod. Where any comments remarking on your character's contacts, skills, and affiliations are removed. I never understood how guards were somehow able to snoop in on you and know everything. They should not know about my assassinations, my training, or my personal contacts. (except maybe the companions questline)

the no skill commenting is what is inappropriate the most.. they just do not know what your character is about, ever.... clueless.

I too would enjoy the no condescending at all version. Maybe you can add an embarrassed comment when they realize at some point their armor has been stripped from their body by some unknown person who finds such remarks really offensive and often inappropriate to the actual character. Thank You!!!

I never want them to comment on my skills or make condescending remarks. I actually do my best to play a paragon and these guys make cracks that make no sense at all. That and I would love to defend my honor by puching the snot out of them if the other is not possible. And they have to pay me 1 gold for the beating I hand out. All guards - all towns. Is that possible? seems there are some male and female sound files for that. PEASE! I also plan to play a total jerk. Same to apply. thank you for your kind attention. Hope you can do this.

there needs to be a mod where guards sit back and shut up during cinematic scenes. "Farengar! Come quickly! A Drago- I USED TO BE AN ADVENTURER LIKE YOU!

I have a request. Can you somehow tweak the guards so that they DEFEND you whenever thugs attack? Not run away if I bump into them, trying to get their help, or just yell that there's a fight and absolutely do nothing. Absolutely irritates me, what the hell are those guards for, just to police me and no one else? Argh

great mod. My only thought is that maybe is should involve perks as well? So a guard won't comment on a skill no matter how high it is if you don't have the first perk for that skill.

does it work with the german version, as well? Cause I don't want to mess up things with the language.. i already have a mix with some english named places and buildings.. anyone know how to change that?
