Its fine. its a bit of an old game. But the armor is great and you can just spawn it in so I'm still using it.

This mod doesn't word as intended. I've tried massing with the crafting requirements but it still wont work. I'm not a modder so that's probably my fault however, for anyone interested in the gear, just enable the console and use the add item command.

Maximum I can't seem to get the mod on. can you tell me what im doing wrong? because i can't find the Mindseal or Hazmatgambison mod. i only found the upgraded armors mod ;^;

Unfortunately, It seems the mod I associated with this one has been removed or changed...
I might fix this when I eventually get the latest dlc; But I will probably not do that for a while. If you have not already I would try reloading it and doing what it says in the NON Advanced materials link up there. ^

i could not find the advanced materials mod or any associated mods with it.Also i do not own any of the dlcs for this game yet.

I have not seen that before. Are you using it with the other recomended mods? Also I have not tested it with the newest expansion, that could also be a problem if you have it. If you are not using the other mods it builds off of then it may have been a mis-edited line of code.

I have a problem it shows all the arrmors fine but it says i cant build any there is a red 1 with no text whatsoever indicating what i need could you verify what this is or if it is a bug please?I will include a screenshot of the titan armor.

You have that listed under Kevlar.

No supplies are listed under the plated armors. When I copied and pasted under their respective costs, nothing broke, but nothing changed either.

Do a find for a pair of lines that look like this,

Resources.ItemTemplateName = 'Supplies';
Resources.Quantity = 10;

Where quantity is the number your changing.

in the proving grounds file I failed to find a means to alter supply costs.

@ Conefed The costs are in the proving ground projects file. As for not being upgrades, I find them to be a little overpowering. But I did want them to not be unstopable, that makes the game no fun for me:steambored:. But you can of course alter them yourselves.

I like this mod and want more ranks of it.
However, the upgrades are a disappointment and arguably not upgrades at all.
Thank you thank you for adding .ini properties for me to tweak.
May you please add utility, heavy weapons, and upgrade slots to the .ini?
Is there a way you could put their cost requirements in the .ini?

@Gunghoo As specified it does require the Advanced Ballistics And Materials. You should be able to click it on the right, also I thought steam should auto notify you that it is needed since its set up as a required item. But alternatively if you know how to mod you can edit them out using the method in the discusion NON Advanced Materials version. But I would suggest you get "Advanced Ballistics and Materials" as it is a great mod too.

I am going to change/fix the armor customization to the default at some point, I think some of the options are broken. But im not sure how well it would work with other mods, depending on the mod it would probably have to be integrated into this one.

I'm liking the armor options, but would it be possible to have the armor use customization options for the base armor? ie kevlar vest draws from all the customization options available to the default kevlar armor. I have a lot of customization mods installed and going back to the vanilla armor is a bit of a buzzkill for me. Also I think the light / heavy armor customization for females is drawing from the male options. The arms look too muscular to be the female options.

You can increase the radius of the flamethrower in the weapondata ini. Add a chance to create environment fire, this is by default disabled for flamethrowers in defaultGamecore. Rebalance the heavy weapons so that each have the potential to do the equal amount of damage. This can be through (crit+damage)+(spread+plusone)= total damage.
You start with 3 heavy weapons, shreddergun, flamethrower and the rocket launcher.
Shreddergun uses both shred and pierce making this weapon the obvious option. There was a mod called handy heavy weapons who gave you the jump ability like an ultility slot for heavy weapons.

There is a jump jet armor in the alien expansion, as for the others I would have to look into creating custom abilities, which I have not done yet. Although I would like to investigate a flamethrower that is more like last xcoms' Wide area rather than this narrow one. But there might already be a mod for that.

I saw, but none of them really tickled my fancy.

I'm lookin for armors with jump jets,
heavy armor that trades the heavy weapon for another benefit, like shields or a super jump.
an armor that grants an extra action point

maybe heavy armors based around certain heavy weapons. Could grant extra uses and/or add functionality. Like a flamethrower armor that grants 4 extra uses and increased range/area.

I'm really happy to see that you took up the concept for modded armors! I'll assume you got some of the code from my old mod, and if thats so, I think I can help with the invisibility glitch, msg me for details.
