Amazing mod really love it one of my essentials!
Thought i have a few questions,
In my ini options i have this:

[DinoFinder]
MinLevels=1
MaxLevels=900
SearchRadius=175000
displayOutline=false
IgnoreFish=true
noDamage=true
HideAllTamed=false

And all fishes are still shown to me.
did i understand the setting wrong that it should be ignore fish false?
Also in your description you say following

Special Highlight on Alpha Creatures, Giga and Ovis"

How do i change that in the ini option can't find any information about how to change this.

What's the INI-option for "Special Highlight on Alpha Creatures, Giga and Ovis"? It's not listed, I'm just assuming "SpecialHighlight=True" or something like that.

(continued) oh and there is something else. Can you seperate between Levels for normal dinos and levels for Alpha-Dinos. So player can make even low-level alphas visisble.

An outstanding mod. The most helpful right after S+. There is one little wish though: Could you make a version of the Dinofinder which is a Skin so it can be applied to all heads. That would be super-helpful. The Builders-Helmet has done such a feat. They have a helmet and a skin for heads both provide the same functionality.

I can't seem to find ant instructions for using the filter section. I use the helmet. I do not have access to changing the ini file. Can someone tell where the instructions are or tell me how to do it.

Has a new bestiary/wiki been made yet? Im trying to have a go at this mod and im so lost!

@ROGer: your drive letter will most likely be something different (it's wherever you store your game files) but this is mine, which is the folder path to the "DefaultGameUserSettings" where you put those and other mod config scripts.

Color customization would be fantastic but no updates since 2018

@Kevin most likely the limiting factor for not seeing them far away is from the dino draw distance setting in the game itself, not the mod.

Would be nice if the Dino's within the chosen range would be a lighter color like yellow and not mauve. Also is there a way to keep the name from disappearing or staying up longer?

Could you do anything about the name color? I can not read when there are a lot of it in the same place, or when I fly too fast.

I do love this mod, found a possible issue with it. When i have the helmet on and i turn on my awsome spyglass the game crashes.
I find that if i want to dino find i make sure the spyglass is turned off, and it seems to stop the crashes. They seem to work together for a while, but once i get in a high dino area they seem to cause a crash.
Also what it the max range that works for this, i have the range set for something stupid high, but it still seems like i have to be very close to see them anyway.

I love this mod a lot. People are apparently blind tho and cant comprehend that tamed dinos are shown as well, just in highlighted green and with no name tag.

How do we see tamed dinos as like as wild ones?

it shows tames to0 but witch much lower range

Can we hide the torpor and life of mobs ? Just wanna know if it's possible :) because just want to see lvl, sex and type of the dinos

Is there something I am doing wrong? I have HideAllTamed=true but they are still being highlighted. Or is there no option to not highlight tames only?

first of all, your mod is awesome, but here`s a question. is their a chance of making this mod work with primal fear? at the moment it sets a highlight on alphas, gigas and ovis. could you make it work for apex, fabeled etc. like they are on primal fear? this would be awesome!! i also tried to change the settings in my game ini because my server is runnung with lvl 900 dinos, so with the original settings it shows everything in red ^^ but it didnt work. any ideas on how i could fix it?

How could i change the recipie of this?

ok any mod that's been tended to since 2016 i have to subscribe to out of respect and see what it does :)

So glad this mod exists because I have arachnophobia so this makes playing the game so much more fun for me because I can avoid them like the plague now

Can you add different modes to the dino finder? I'll write some examples of what I mean.
1st mode: Default (what we have now)
2nd mode: Tame finder (shows only our own tames, can be used to find lost pets too)
3rd mode: Player finder (shows only our tribe mates anywhere on map)

unfortunately not...

@El Grapadura There is a section in ASM for GameUserSettings.ini settings. You can't edit the ini directly. Our server is down at the moment so I don't exactly know where it is located but it is in one of the lower sections.

There's a way to filter which dinosaur I want to find? For example, I want to find a T-Rex so only T-Rex are shown.
