I solved it a little differently than the guy with the YouTube video. (Do people actually shoot real-time vidoes of themselves thinking through the puzzles? I wouldn't want that kind of pressure or hurry.)
I used the faith plate to shoot over the top of that glass.
I didn't think I could portal-jump to skip the stairs, so I put the ball onto the red button, then I reached down from atop the stairs to pull the ball out of the blue funnel.
My one complaint is that it's possible to get yourself into a dead end, and be forced to restart. But I still gave it a thumbs up.

TOO EASY. Also, what exactly is the faith plate for? It seems useless.
Pretty good anyway.
The faith plate was only to gain height to increase your vision, so you are able to get the sphere. But, you could have done the same thing with the funnel, making the faith plate unnecessary.
I've got a map of my own I'm trying to get out there a bit, try it and leave a comment :)
