Mod still works, but just to let everyone know- there seems to be an issue with the Nebulizer recipe unlocks, and you'll have to switch on admin mode to obtain them the first time.

the molten metal seeder can't be removed by the hoe, or even by the matter manipulator except by breaking the block entirely. So heads up, be careful with that one.

If you use a hoe on a block with grass, it removes the grass

Is there also an "Unseeder" for removing surfaces like grass? Trying to use the MM to remove grass usually removes the whole block unless you're very careful

And I "fixed" it by removing the .patch file and just overwriting the .recipe with the correct code in it. If anyone else has issues please let me know on the Ground Seeders Fix page!

Just a heads up, the Ground Seeders Fix isn't compatible with Many Tabs. I have no idea why. I've asked the author of Many Tabs for help in the mod's Bug Report thread, so hopefully I can get it resolved soon.

First off, I want to say this is an amazing mod and I love it to pieces. It is in fact the only mod I use; I usually don't like using mods, but this one is fantastically useful. Thank you so much for all your hard work, and for sharing! <3

That being said, Ground Seeders seems to be very very broken as of 3/29/2017 - Starbound version 1.2.3b (Windows x86_64). What's odd is that I haven't seen any updates of anything; it worked fine last night, and now it doesn't work at all.

For reference, this is the only mod I'm using; I otherwise have a nice clean install of Starbound. I had been using Elysium Worlds, but I uninstalled that a few days ago, and at the time uninstalling that didn't seem to have any impact on Ground Seeders.

Thought you might want to know, just in case any other users are having this issue. :(

If you're using any material IDs, make sure you register them at the http://starbounder.org/Modding:Materials:Mods . You've put a lot of work into this for it to ending up conflicing with other mods.

Great job so far. I've jsut found a little inconsistence with the crafting recepies. I've crafted the "Tar Can" and learnt the "Cryonic Nebulizer" recipe intead of the "Radiant Nebulizer" neded to assemble it.

to thelostmerc.
craft a inventors table with your bare hands. then place the table and open it. there should be a big UPGRADE buttton at the top. go into admin (/admin) to upgrade for free. you now can craft the two tables needed for this mod.

so i have this mod and the frackin universe and got myself a spawn anything mod. i cannot find the table to make these items that i can spawn in,tried admin commands and even looked to see what the table is called in the pictures not found anywhere. ALSO couldnt find the engineers table to even research what i needed or able to find it on my spawn list or the tabula risa. so what am i doing wrong?

Perhapse adding a Captain Hazmat pack would be cool. Going into a hostile biome land to exterminate creatures with a set of biome blasters that use these ground seeders as ammo. The protectiles and stuff would damage creatures more by a seeder can that doesn't match their natural habitat. Tapping right click would change biome cannisters while holding it down shoots a seeder grenade which covers the ground in deadly toxic goo before converting the ground to another biome. also you get armor to protect yourself from the guns harmful affects in the form of you guessed it, a hazmat suit. The goo is neon blue to me by the way.

Okay. I think I fixed everything with compatibility and semantic versioning! :D And thanks to Misunderstood Wookie for the info and Videonauth for reporting what was a pretty huge problem. Now I'll work on getting the FrackinUniverse Ground Seeders onto Steam and I'll make another add-on based off of suggestions.

Super sorry I broke the Rotten Food, but I fixed it. I made a patch for the Toxic Synthesis Can, but I forgot the brackets since it's a new array. The "add" patch requires different types of paths and values depending on if blueprints are already present in an item or not. It gets a little confusing... :|

No worries, just make sure the add on loads after both this mod and Frackin Universe or dependencies will seem broken, no point in a requirement if the mod doesn't detect the assets hehe. But that's okay. Just use the includes portion and it will load after the dependencies.

You should also be able to array the required portion on the script like in the second pastebin with multiple includes, you will need to do this if you want to me sure the addon doesn't even load unless both this and FU have loaded :) happy modding.

Sad, your latest update wrecked the rotten food somehow. With your mod enabled i get only perfectly generic items for rotten food, even when spawning fresh in. Using FU here. God what a mess to find the culprit mod which turned my fresh generated 4k rotten food into generic cubes.

Thanks! I'll have to look into the dependency issue later. I did a lot in order to get everything working right, so I'll take a small break before tackling the issue. Getting patches to work with blueprints that did or didn't have arrays present was frustrating enough as it was... :P

Just to clarify http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/novastarxs-ground-seeders.3974/ is your mod right? So lets sort out the issue with the FU addon dependencies issue here.


This code [pastebin.com] is how it is done and place this inside the .metadata file of the project.

If you need to assign multiple mods as a dependencies use this code snip [pastebin.com] instead

Requires = Will not load unless mod is present
Includes = Will load even if mod is not present, but if it is present will load after

If this does not work add the below to the .metadata file to ensure it loads above all others.

FrackinUniverse Matter Synthesisers are coming soon in a separate Workshop item! I also made a patch that corrected the patching system for adding blueprints on pickup of items. So now the blueprints for overwritten items are back whenever you pick them up again.
