SO GO TO BLEAK FALLS
Frankenstein  [author] May 13, 2017 @ 12:06am
Wherever you find the regular "Ancient Nord Armor" pieces, for example Forelhost. And you can craft it after completing the Companions Questline. Only the stats on the vanilla armor have been changed.
FencingRabbit May 12, 2017 @ 8:22am
where do i find it?
Frankenstein  [author] Jun 4, 2016 @ 12:21am
When you click on Library, there is a "tools" section. In there you should find all sorts of stuff, but also the Skyrim Creation Kit.
Chalk.Jpeg Jun 3, 2016 @ 8:24pm
where do you find the creation kit
Frankenstein  [author] May 16, 2016 @ 11:54pm
This mod was easy to create. You can change the stats yourself via the Creation kit. Just raise the base armor points to where you would like them.
Chalk.Jpeg May 16, 2016 @ 6:39pm
i think it sould be atleast as boo as dragon bone armour.
Frankenstein  [author] May 6, 2016 @ 6:41am
Sure.
Lt.Maclean May 5, 2016 @ 11:59pm
well cheers man thanks for the awsnswer
Frankenstein  [author] May 5, 2016 @ 11:26pm
Sorry, but this is a stat mod. It doesn't change anything about the looks. And I'm simply not good enough to edit the meshes and textures of this armor.
Lt.Maclean May 5, 2016 @ 4:54pm
can u maybe add sleaves that go up the arms i have looked every where but non of them have sleevs?
Frankenstein  [author] Jan 4, 2016 @ 11:44pm
Just because it is in the daedric category doesn't mean it's good.
It has a vanilla armor value (in the creation kit) of 25. Even the banded iron armor has already an armor value of 28 which means it is better. So what I did was change the value to 38 which is inbetween 35 (orcish) and 43 (ebony). Please do your own research before calling me out.
omegablue0231 Jan 4, 2016 @ 3:48pm
You realize it uses daedric smithing right? It's not a bad armor in vanilla you just didn't research.
Frankenstein  [author] Aug 23, 2015 @ 8:47am
Thanks a lot!
borkiee Aug 23, 2015 @ 8:33am
This is JUST what i wanted, now i have a reason to use this armor, i love how it looks, but it was too weak, thx, rate for you :D
Frankenstein  [author] May 7, 2015 @ 9:02pm
No I didn't. Should I?
Bongo May 7, 2015 @ 6:37pm
@*ViktorFrankenstein did you modify helm of yngol?
Frankenstein  [author] Apr 14, 2015 @ 8:57pm
Sorry, nope, just stats have changed.
ArrowBread Apr 14, 2015 @ 3:55pm
dose the armor look any diferent?
Kenny_McCormick Jul 18, 2014 @ 8:28am
Thanks
Frankenstein  [author] Jul 18, 2014 @ 7:57am
"the Ancient Nord Armor you get for completing the Companions Quest Line"

Can be smithed at the Skyforge after completing the Companions Questline or gotten by going to Forelhost next to Riften.
Kenny_McCormick Jul 18, 2014 @ 4:59am
I cant smith it
Chaddington Mar 25, 2013 @ 4:15am
Exactly the mod I was looking for. I couldn't agree with you more on how lousy this set was for how hard you had to work for it. Thanks for this mod!
Thanis Feb 19, 2013 @ 10:28am
F*** yeah! I love that armor since I play a Nord and I got tired of all the fancy ones that are supposed to be better but, IMO, ruin the aesthetics of Skyrim. Way to go, man! :)
BLANNIBAL Oct 6, 2012 @ 8:16pm
yes yes thank you so much
Frankenstein  [author] Sep 17, 2012 @ 7:39am
Thx, even though there are better mods out there. I like the "Ancient Nord Hero Armor", because it fits together with the weapons. But I'm no artist, so i simply changed the stats.
Krystal (ง'̀-'́)ง Sep 17, 2012 @ 3:56am
Thanks! I was just about to mod it myself when I found yours.
It killed me when I first got through the companions and saw the stats on that armor lol.
Faustian Device Jul 27, 2012 @ 7:28pm
ugh... youre*
Faustian Device Jul 27, 2012 @ 7:28pm
your welcome :P
Frankenstein  [author] Jul 27, 2012 @ 11:26am
thx for the appreciation!
Faustian Device Jul 27, 2012 @ 5:44am
LOL
great description
idc if i will never get around to finishing the boring as hell companions questline
this mod shall be sub'd
Frankenstein  [author] Jun 1, 2012 @ 8:22am
Since it uses the same template, it does. Personally I dont mind the challenge. As I said before, this armour is supposed to be great and not just rubbish. So it's a reward if you get it.
rrubright Jun 1, 2012 @ 8:16am
Does it alter the NA worn by Dragon Cultists in Forelhost as well? That temple is pretty tough allready, but giving them better armor would make it an even better challenge. Also, you can loot it from them, which is another way to attain it.
SableTwoSeven May 28, 2012 @ 11:16pm
indeed it would. but still, this is a great mod
Frankenstein  [author] May 28, 2012 @ 10:35pm
That would be work for some of those really great armour modders out there. Shouldn't be too hard for them to take the pants of some regular clothing, change the coloring, so it fits this set and add it to the skin.
ramakgaming May 28, 2012 @ 8:09pm
Oh, well darn - it would be nice to be able to have it have pants lol
SableTwoSeven May 28, 2012 @ 8:04pm
hes actually not wearing pants, hes just got dark skin
Noeth Deimos May 28, 2012 @ 8:01pm
@ramakgaming i was about to ask the same thing, i hate looing at my own skin, just like the saviors hide and i found a mod to fix it :D
ramakgaming May 28, 2012 @ 7:58pm
This is interesting. But I have to ask, how did you get the armor to have pants on it like the screenshot? It looks so much better.
/!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May 28, 2012 @ 3:27pm
When you take your armor off at night & hang it up on a manny, you are going to be disappointed. You do take your armor off before you get in bed don't you?HEH,HEH,HEH.
Frankenstein  [author] May 28, 2012 @ 3:21pm
Sorry, no, I just fixed the stats.
/!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May 28, 2012 @ 3:16pm
If you used vanilla items, did you fix issue of helmet being invisible on manniqenns?
