I don’t know what other mod would be causing it
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Oct 12, 2024 @ 9:01am
Magnorbs tooltip is working for me.
Maybe it's a conflict with another mod.
Major Poison Oct 9, 2024 @ 9:02pm
this mod doesn't work with the Magorbs weapon in vanilla. no stats are shown.
Nerevar Mar 28, 2023 @ 10:31am
YES, legendary!
Exelsiar Jan 4, 2023 @ 1:26pm
Ahh shame, thanks anyway, oh well it's no great loss really, it's only 1 weapon, and I don't use shotguns :)
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Jan 4, 2023 @ 12:11pm
I did check both. Both are working perfectly for me.
Sorry at the moment I don't know how i can help you.
Exelsiar Jan 4, 2023 @ 9:45am
I just had a look at The Gauntlet, tis the only other legendary I have, and yep works fine.

I have no mods that touch such, actually the only mods I have that touch weapons is this one and Weapon Stats.

When you looked at Neo Magnum, did you look at the pistol from the peacekeepers, or the shotgun?
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Jan 4, 2023 @ 8:19am
I just tested the Neo Magnum. For me it's working.

Do other legendarys display stats for you?
Do you maybe have other mods that change the magnum and therefor interfere with my mod?
Exelsiar Jan 4, 2023 @ 7:52am
Just received a legendary weapon called Neo Magnum, it's a unique energy shotgun. It doesn't show any of the stats. For reference I don't have any mods that add weapons.
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Feb 9, 2022 @ 10:29pm
It's the damage per energy.
Wolfe Feb 9, 2022 @ 6:38pm
Does anyone know what the number in the top left corner of the ranged weapons means?
Frederico Evandro May 22, 2021 @ 11:29pm
This mod works with "Upgraded Upgrades"?
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Mar 29, 2021 @ 7:39am
FU incompability is now listed in the description.
I talked to the FU developer and he told me that FU already has legendary tooltips. So there is no need to make my mod compatible.
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Mar 29, 2021 @ 4:23am
Yes this can be used alongside "Weapon Stats". I have added it to the description.
Z'uldiss Mar 28, 2021 @ 9:01pm
Maybe there should be a description note about whether or not this is to be used alongside "Weapon Stats".🤔
Aegis J Hyena Mar 22, 2021 @ 10:45pm
No longer compatible with FU -- "breaks buildscripts" according to the their wiki.
Xyonon Mar 21, 2021 @ 1:31pm
Thank you for the fast response! I wasn't sure because apparently the "food tooltips" doesn't work that way... Thanks! :)
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Mar 21, 2021 @ 3:53am
Yes you can play with vanilla players.
Xyonon Mar 20, 2021 @ 5:20pm
Is this mod client side only? Like can I play with vanilla players with it? :) Thanks!
Relldrin (Shadrakir) Dec 15, 2020 @ 11:45am
from start to endgame, it all comes down to two important types: Burst (heavy weapons) or consistent (light weapons) I am excluding wands/staves/quarterstaves
Relldrin (Shadrakir) Dec 15, 2020 @ 11:39am
Damage per second is DPS which is the average damage you deal with a weapon, damage per swing or shot is based on how much you deal per hit as weapons tend to be slower than other weapons. example: hammers/axes vs swinging a sword/broadsword for melee and the good ole boomstick vs the assault rifle. obviously irrelevant if you can one-shot everything under the sun
Lienom Zekon Nov 22, 2020 @ 5:47pm
what the dif between DPS and Damge per second? are they the same?
Windtalkers Nov 7, 2020 @ 12:44pm
Thank you for updating the mod!
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Oct 31, 2020 @ 12:50pm
Now Updated with 1.4 Weapons:
Neo Laser Launcher, Neo Magnum, Neo Pistol, Neo Shotgun, Neo Tommy Gun, Neo Uzi, Gluesprayer
Khe Oct 31, 2020 @ 12:26pm
unfortunately not possible.
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Oct 31, 2020 @ 2:04am
Hey Nightmare and others.
Unfortunately I don't know how to make a version without altering the buildscripts. If a more talented modder could help me with that I would happily change it.
☥¤§ÑîGHTMÃRɧ¤☥ Oct 29, 2020 @ 11:53pm
put out a more compatible build version thanks then we'll download and sub.
Randumduk Jun 15, 2020 @ 1:06pm
"Here be dragons"
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Khe May 23, 2020 @ 5:09am
noted: incompatible with FU. modifies buildscripts.
Davoker Apr 2, 2020 @ 9:55am
To know how to unpack the .pak files of the mods, here is a tutorial:

https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/how-to-successfully-pack-and-unpack-pak-files.66649/

It is very simple, it has no mystery.
Davoker Apr 2, 2020 @ 9:46am
- Unzip the mod
- Go to the following folder:

items \ active \ weapons \ ranged \ unrand

- Create a folder here with the name -> neolaserlauncher

- Copy any file from any of the other weapons that is in the "unrand" folder, and paste that file in the new folder (neolaserlauncher)

- Edit that file with a text editor, delete everything and write this inside:

[
{
"op": "add",
"path": "/ tooltipKind",
"value": "LegendaryGun2H"
}
]

And save the changes when closing.

- Rename the file with this name:

neolaserlauncher.activeitem.patch

Done, the new Lazercaster weapon from update 1.4 is already added =)
Vitnir Feb 29, 2020 @ 6:34pm
@Only Rage This mod hasn't been updated since before the 1.3 update, and the Lazercaster is a 1.4 item.
Only Rage Dec 10, 2019 @ 10:47pm
I have a 'unique' weapon (the Lazercaster) where the information isn't shown... Is this a bug?
tiggidytex Oct 4, 2019 @ 7:59pm
Sure thing, apologies for the delay. I went ahead and uploaded 2 examples from a new game onto the text overlap Discussion over in the Weapon Stat mod page here on Steam.
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Sep 30, 2019 @ 12:53pm
Thank you tiggidytex.
Maybe you can send me a screenshot of the overlap and i will try to deploy a fix.
tiggidytex Sep 29, 2019 @ 12:52pm
Yes 1.4 compatible. It won't break your game even with FU.

Regular weaponry tooltips however have overlapping text issues with "DPS" and "Damage per second"
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Sep 3, 2019 @ 10:17am
I don't play Starbound anymore. Can someone please try my mod with the latest patch? If there are any problems i will fix it but i won't update it for new items. Sorry.
Festive Mints Sep 3, 2019 @ 12:24am
does this work for 1.4?
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Aug 6, 2018 @ 12:05pm

megameg79 Jul 30, 2018 @ 2:33pm
The numbers are going up as expected, so looks good! I'm glad, cause this mod is very helpful
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Jul 26, 2018 @ 2:31pm
I do call from a script. Every mod that uses the default weapon build scripts should be ok.
megameg79 Jul 26, 2018 @ 2:21pm
Similar question to the dude below me; Are the tooltips still accurate after upgrading at an anvil? Would it still be true with Upgraded Upgrades?
GronkJuice Jun 19, 2018 @ 9:05am
Question: does this call vanilia numbers, or does it have a character display? (call from a script or you just display the numbers and have to update it if vanilla changes)
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Jun 18, 2018 @ 3:11am
Sorry no. I am not going to provide compatibility to mods that change the buildscript because I would have to change my mod everytime they release a new version with a new buildscript. And I just don't have the time for that.
turner148 Jun 18, 2018 @ 2:58am
Any plans on adding any compatibility to the mod?
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Jun 18, 2018 @ 2:56am
Yes because both change the default weapon build script.
turner148 Jun 18, 2018 @ 12:05am
Due to the way this mod works, it conflicts with this mod

Ravnecks2.0  [author] Jun 11, 2018 @ 9:06am
Yes
Bitz Jun 11, 2018 @ 7:21am
is this client sided?
Ravnecks2.0  [author] Dec 16, 2017 @ 8:34am
Manufacturer's Touch is incompatible with any mod that changes the default weapon build scripts, as well as any mod that changes the weapon tooltip UI.
Unfortunately this includes this mod.
