Ok, thank you. Btw, do you know if this is compatible with NPCspawner+? Kind of the main reason why I wanted this mod.
Don't worry about this, I tried to play with frakin universe and this mod, they work together without conflict.
Also, sorry for reporting your comment a few times. It's just I'm kind of having some lag on my end that's making me tap on the wrong things. (I'm using a tablet to write this.)
Ok, now I just need to know for sure that this will work well with others hair mods. Frackin' Universe has it's own hairstyles added into it, but I'm not entirely sure if this still works with that mod.

Hylotl: I added a new hair similar to your image (had o reduce details a bit)
Emo hair: Some are fairly emo ;) I'll keep it in mind for more updates...
I looked into separate beards for humans again. The problem is still that I can't add "new" options to the game, I just can use the existing ones. And humans already use the "alt" option for underwear/hairdeco color. If I enable it for facial hair you will change both at the same time.
I made a compromise when adding hair deco color for apex (they use "alt" for beard): I tied the hair deco to the fur color instead, which gives less freedom for color choice, but at least you don't need to change beard and hair deco at the same time.
"Can these hairs be seen by other players without the mod on multiplay" - They will see you bald, I guess.
"Would you ever make a version without beards?" - If you want to erase them: It's probably easiest to dowload this mod .pak from the chucklefish page and use the unpacker tool (starbound/win32/asset_unpacker.exe (best to google a guide)). Then you can move the upacked and edited files into starbound/mods ... Making a second pack without beads would be a bit too much maintainance for me. Ideally I'd like to see human facial hair as an seperate asset, like with Apex. However I would need to modify the interface and the last time I tried this 2 years ago I failed o_O
