No need. The core treasurepools were not changed with 1.4. Still fully functional and covers new content as long as the new content calls to the core pools (which, as far as I can tell, they do).
To be honest I kinda want the reverse.
Want things to be MORE rare.
Also any possible way to affect chest drops?
In summary: It trades -4% for 4% and -16% for 16%. That's rather balanced and mild, if you think about it.
If you find yourself short on pixels, then you must not be selling the extra guns and stuff you don't need. But, even then, merchants only give us 1/5 (or 20%) of an item's base value, at most, so it's not like the extra stuff is making us rich.
I meant doing quests on some planet is less profitable than fastly exploring same planet
lowValueQuestRewards (thrownWeapon, seed, tool, ore)
mediumValueQuestRewards (weapon, shield, richOre, manipulatormodule, techcard, upgrademodule, rarefurniture, instrument, costume)
highValueQuestRewards (costume, rarefurniture, manipulatormodule, techcard, upgrademodule, goodWeapon, instrument)
Options:
1. Your friends can install the mod aswell through the Workshop.
2. Instead of using the Workshop, place the mod in your mods folder: http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/x5-basic-treasure-drop-rate.3806/
3. Follow the steps here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/211820/discussions/0/352788917750356151/
@bearhiderug Those are some good ideas, however I'd like to stick with maintaining just one drop table so that I can use it with my own character and tweak accordingly. Anyone is welcome to open the mod and tweak as they'd like.
@i like dog Sure, I'll let you know when they're up.
