Guys, this is very broken and old. It will be a while, if ever, that I get to updating it. Use one of the more recent versions of this from someone else.

I know Im replying to this 3 years later, but the answer is yes, but not without a lot of work.

I don't know if there is a way to dynamically populate the troop/vehicles lists. i.e. just select a faction such as on the Dynamic Combat Ops missions.

I did create versions of BECTI with RHS factions etc. But I literally had to go into the files for the mod and replace all the units and equipment with other units and equipment.

I know you have some Takistan, Shapur, excetera versions of this, but are you planning on doing more vanilla versions? Say Altis and Malden 2035? Or Semi-vanilla on CUP maps?

Lol. I've wrapped up about everything at this point. Still have a tad more work to do to clean up gear store lists. The only other stopper is the camo selection on purchase, which I'm giving up on today if I don't get it working. Almost done, I promise.

I want to keep it, but the island jumping looks more of a pain than anything. I play games to enjoy them. Not to feel like I'm at a job.

I don't know if I'll get an response here, but is there any better way of building defenses and things, other than the commander build interface? Am I really supposed to select and rotate each individual piece of wall that I want to deploy or am I doing it wrong? On Arma 2 you could hold shift or something and build multiple things one after the other without having to rotate them every single time. Please tell me I'm doing it wrong because I can't believe the build system would have regressed to this kind of interface.

That's because BECTI missions can't be played as "singleplayer". You can play them singleplayer style, but it'll still need locally hosted through the multiplayer browser.

The reason why this is, is because singleplayer doesn't support multiplayer respawn. When you die, it sends you back to the original soldier unit, which I have hidden under placable rocks to prevent you from shooting at AI husks.

There's a problem when you die and want to team switch. All men are stuck under ground so you have to restart or end. Can I fix it somehow?

@TheCapulet Hi, I use this misson map as mpmission on my dedicate server but I can't find where I can edit server option? Can you tell me which file I should look for server option please? (For example : AI Skill , etc)

Yes. You just need to host it as a private multiplayer server. So to play in SP, simply go to the multiplayer browser In Game, then click on host server, hit ok without changing anything, select tanoa, and then the mission. Be sure to check out the parameters before starting the mission to see if there are any changes that might fit your fancy.

For some odd reason when i play this BECTI by myself i get constant Memory read errors. only this mission tho. i think its the new map + 5k extended view.

Heya I have a bunch of friends playing and the AI moving between islands would be a lovely improvement. In addition I was curious if it was possible to have it so that when making defences such as manned turrets, that they can be placed on top or in structures. So that way if you build the tower youcan then have a turret on top. would be a great touch.

When will released a new update (with repair some bug's, AI commander don't move to other island, etc..)? A small prayer, you could remove the fog in the Mission? (Due to the low visibility of the mission after several hours unplayable). Thank's :)

Everything works good and the mod is really fun but the AI does not move from one island to another.... is there any way to fix that?

Just host a server from the MP lobby. In the lobby, before you start the game, click on parameters on the top right corner, and turn on commanding AI and AI squads to 1/4th slots or more. There will be an update in the next week or so that normalizes those settings for SP/Co-op, and fixes some of the accumulated bugs between this release and the Desert BECTI release.
