havent touched this in years not sure why it wouldnt work but havent played the game it was admin only spawned and was just an item so shouldnt have broke with game updates

seems as i cant get these to spawn, does this mod work? as i have copied and pasted from the above but cant get them to work at all @Davetiger?

that is correct it was for currency only that the admin must spawn in and give to players to build a player economy wasn't for anything else

You can spawn in the coins just fine so if that's what you're using it for, it's not broken. But I have tried to set it as a crafting item and that's not working but I'm not sure the OP made it for something like that.

hmm, no this was just a currency item add, might be they made so many changes this needs to be recompiled but I no longer have ark modder on my machine.

Ive got the mod installed, but cheat commands doing nothing, i double checked the blueprint path and it seemed right

Just popping in 4 years after you made this to say thanks, it was exactly what i needed

You don't, this was made for a specific server so the admin spawns it in and gives everyone some and then they barter and stuff it's just coins with no vendors or anything.

how do i craft the money

though this may have been fixed by ark updates because I think I have my currency loaded last now and it saves in s+ boxes just fine

@adrianna, been awhile but I do think someone else did find why they were not saving when stored in boxes, this mod needs to be loaded before the mod that is storing it because it can't have coins if the coins don't exist. Found that if a mod adds a box for example and they don't save the actual blueprint path to the box it will vanish on load if it is before the coin mod.

This mod ONLY adds 3 blueprints to the game and has no effect on anything else and therefor cannot be the cause of crashing, glitching, or smelling funny

Ok, I made this for someone a while ago and didn't really use it, I bet some of the updates over the years broke something in it, I'll try to recompile it this week and try it again

Thank you for getting back to me! But no, we tried everything and couldn't get it to work. So we made our own.

This mod is great though, we used it a ton on our RP server until it just stopped working for us.

Hey sorry I kinda fell off the planet for a bit did you ever get this to work or did you just stop using it? I haven't had anyone else (5,179 subscribers) say they are having that issue. Only thing I can think of other than a mod not saving is wiping the mod directory completely out and redownloading it.

I have EcoRPdecor, ecoTrees, Castles, Keeps, and Forts, along with 2 mods that where created by a friend. The only one's that have custom models would be the first 3 but their all reliable mods.. I'm not sure why the gold is vanishing everytime someone loggs off or I update the server.

Only time I've seen anything vanish is when someone is using a mod that modifies the original and they don't properly save items. so are you using any custom model mods? that would effect inventory?

I'm having a slight problem with gold vanishing from peoples inventories, any idea's on what I'm doing wrong?

so is this "cash" just for like RP servers? or for actual communits that are in pve/pvp servers?

I read on another currency mod about the same thing happening and they said it was a mod order issue. I moved mods around and will see if they stay this time. All in all if it works the mod is great. Takes a lot of work to create an economy.

@Canavar, I have not heard that from the person I made this for usually I've found when things aren't saving it's usually bad install or another addon that isn't keeping the data saved

@Unst3rblich, that's because that is what they are .. they are the ingame pearls painted different colors.

So, we just started using this mod on my server to create an economy. We set our prices and got everything running, however I put some coins in a vault for storage and they disappeared the next day. I also had some survivors sell me items for coinage and now they are saying their coins are gone as well. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Hey dave, this looks perfect for our server. Does the currency drop from dinos or appear in world drops? How does one aquire it besides spawning it in? Thanks for your hard work.

@Worldgate, i run a server where we have 10 shops ran by our players, we think that adds a bit of RP which is nice since we are a RP server. I would recommend you to check davetigers Shop Mod :)

@worldgate, I have no use for that already have a shopping mod that turns metal into gold coins and then you can buy metal or wood or stone with those gold coins. This mod was just because kaie asked to have just money that admin could spawn in that didn't do anything on it's own :)

I would love to see a currency mod where you stamp metal into coins, say 1 metal ingot = 5 coins, and can smelt the 5 coins back to 1 metal. Then you can have a currency that always has some sort of value.
