The mod is not compatible with zoomed out minimap, so you will have to have a huge minimap scale, so I would like mod compatibility or something

The "No Vertical Camera" mod stops working after installing your mod. Is there any way to fix this? I really liked your work and would like to use both mods together.

An Amazing mod, I have a huge request though, can you make it compatible with the 67% UI Mod? The default HUD simply is too big.

Hi everyone,
I just wonder if someone could help me out? I wonder if there is anyway to give a key command to switch/use lightsaber styles, like you use positive force power "4" Medpacks "5" Mines "6". I googled my backside off, and there isn't anything that I could find.
Please it would be awesome to use it.
Thanks

This doesn't work for me. Any suggestions?

I hate that the combat HUD is in the middle of the bloody screen covering your character.

While the UI isnt bad, you can even see in the above images, not just in game, that it is not, condensed, or Sleeker, Most things are bigger in fact. Its just reorganized and added an unnessasary bar to the top right of the screen that if playing with controller is unnaccessable. If you wanted to decrease the UI and hud the 60% mod an:steamsad:d this one generally dont work well together and will try to overlap each other. So while this is not a bad Mod, I wouldnt say its a must have at this point.

not good GUI.
and even your reasoning is not valid. (condensed, sleeker version)

I'm only using two of the mods; them being UI Redesign + Widescreen UI. In my case, Widescreen UI does not work well with UI Redesign. UI Redesign will work just fine, but the rest of the game is all stretched out like in vanilla version.

It is very unfortunate because I wanted them to work. I do not know if the problem is on my end or the files and codes themselves. I have yet to try the UI Resize mod, so I'll test that soon as well with those other mods.

@Moshine(No Mouse) Yes, but to a certain extent... I've tried using the UI resize mod combined with using both the UI redesign mod and the Widescreen UI mod.
As far as I understand it, only two of these mods can be active at once:

UI Resize + Widescreen UI
or
UI Redesign + Widescreen UI
or
UI Resize + UI Redesign

Using all three UI mods at the same time seems to fight over which mod is gonna overlap the other... that's at least what happens for me. If this does not happen to you, then it's beyond my understanding.

2 days not working ?? ( for me)
Cole Aug 23, 2018 @ 11:30am
This is great - how did you make this? :)
Moshine(No Mouse) Jul 30, 2018 @ 3:44pm
Is this compatible with the 60% UI resize mod?
CatDaddy407 Jul 12, 2018 @ 8:30pm
Love it! Gives it a more modern, sleek look. Nice work!

How do you make the UI like KOTOR 1 (like in the bottom screenshot)?
Sniggles Jul 30, 2017 @ 5:46pm
Is this mod available online anywhere other than here on the workshop? If not, would you consider uploading it to a KOTOR modding site like deadlystream? I prefer not to use the workshop if possible, and I know many others with similar views that would love to utilize the mod.

Great job! Thanks.

There are some .gui files in the game which control the placement and size of the ui elements and their images. If you can find the right file and fields within it, you can change the attributes. However it takes forever and it beyond annoying to get good results.
Lukong1515 Dec 10, 2016 @ 2:39pm
Sorry to ask but How did you do that?
leerox Nov 19, 2016 @ 11:01am
This looks REALLY good. Great job
Darth Noctis Sep 9, 2016 @ 8:22pm
will this mod work with the widescreen ui mod?
Mulaak Jul 22, 2016 @ 9:06am
Just like @Palin id like to have a smaller version of this mod ! Nice mod btw ^^
JohnMerlin Jul 16, 2016 @ 4:30am
coolio
notNSANE Jul 15, 2016 @ 4:05am
no, please! The size is perfect right now. If you want a smaller HUD, use the other mod!
doboy  [author] Jul 10, 2016 @ 9:13am
@Palin
I'm working on something else right now, but as soon as I get the chance, I will. I think I agree that it should be smaller.
Floyyd Jul 9, 2016 @ 10:27pm
You said you can edit scale, make it smaller and the mod will be perfect!
Morpheus Buress Jul 8, 2016 @ 11:41am
The only problem with this mod is it does not work with smaller hud but besides that it's great.
Majima's 500 Yen Jul 7, 2016 @ 5:55am
reminds me of Kotor 1... Which was Better :steamhappy:
Galactic North Jul 2, 2016 @ 1:09pm
I love what you have done with it, to bad it doesn't work with smaller hud.
Maxyall Jun 30, 2016 @ 7:48am
This is great! thank you!
LordoftheTrolls Jun 28, 2016 @ 12:58pm
Thanks glad to see this game is still getting support.

@DzikiDzwon
I see what you're saying. I just changed the arrow placement a tad, so it should no longer do that.
arken Jun 25, 2016 @ 7:43am
Thanks!
DzikiDzwon Jun 24, 2016 @ 2:39am
Looks nice, way better than the original one :). I found one bug which may be caused by this mod- when i'm trying to "select behaviour" (i.e. jedi support, aggresive etc.) by clicking on arrows it changes back to the one set before immediately after mouse cursor leaves the arrow "area" preventing me from clicking on it. It can be bypassed by using the mouse wheel.

I'm not sure if I explained it in an understandable way so here's an example:
I want to change the role from aggresive to jedi support. I click on arrows to find it, but then i need to click on the roles icon to confirm my choice. When I'm trying to do that, the icon changes back to aggresive before I can confirm new choice- it doesn't do that if i'm using mouse wheel instead of arrows. All of the other thing on the same bar work corretly (force powers etc.).

Hope it helps, nice work anyway ;)

@Zeturion
I wish I could. Unfortunately, the game doesn't allow much flexibility with editing or adding functionality to the ui. The best I can do is remove, scale, or change the look of certain elements. Kind of a bummer.

@DzikiDzwon
Thanks!
Zeturion Jun 23, 2016 @ 10:04am
When I read "redesign" I thought there will be frendlier version of combat and items UI 'cause endless scrolling to choose right item/ability is tiring.
DzikiDzwon Jun 23, 2016 @ 7:16am
Looks nice, I subscribed and will check it out :)
