Any plans to update this? It would be nice not to have to wait until 1939 to play as the USA.

Honestly I feel like Isolationist should also be removed if Facists come to power, like have a modifier that say's if Facism is at 40% removes Isolationist and if economy is not Iso/consumer goods remove great depression.

This game is all about the "What if" What if Japan invade Russia, what if Germany annexed Slovenia, what if the United States never entered the war, what if the Great Depression never happened. This isn't cheating. This doesn't represent what historically happened. That was not the intent. The intent was to make the United States stronger by removing it, thereby changing the outcome of WW2. It just makes the game more interesting whether you're the United States or not. Maybe somebody who plays this mod will play as Japan. Who knows?

Role playing should be on Historical basis and changing the future, so you could add a national focus for it that removes it quiet fast (like 1937 rather than 1940). I too have plans but it will not realy change the ballance of power drasticaly and it will certainly never be released (exept i finish it this time and the game aswell as paradox does not troll me with their stupidness as they did in Stellaris). So for roleplay ok, yet for any other than that its plain cheating. And well yes i would love to see some kind of that debuff actualy making its way to England and France too as only Germany did recover from the depression fast enogh to actualy get superiority over the others.

EDF, this is meant for role playing reasons. Like, america becomes a empire.

To be fair, the depression was just as bad in most of Europe.
