Thanks Felix for taking the time to create realistic scenarios. I thoroughly enjoyed this one, even arrived Penrith and Carlisle on time. Keep up the creative work.

Oi dipshit, can't you read? "66 Subscribers" Either you are completely lying or you must assume that none of the 66 downloaders have played it. Plus, it has two favourites so I don't see where you got all that crap from.

btw... IT'S AI

If you don't want to get the reskins, and are only going to complain because you are too lazy to get them, piss off.
TheTrain  [author] Jun 8, 2016 @ 8:18am
The British Railway system is such a diverse one that in order to be so realistic, some scenarios need to have lots of different trains running in order to simulate what it would be like to drive the service in real life. The WCML is rather complicated as it has many operators, many types of rolling stock and nearly half the UK Rail freight on it. So, no wonder there's a long requirements list, because the journey it simulates has this much different stock on it. This is as realistic a simulation of real life as I can make it. Nothing is useless or redundant; it all serves a purpose.

Also, Fairrosamund, this is probably the 5th time you've posted comments along the lines of "too many reskins" or "too many requirements". I'm going to continue to make scenarios to this standard and to this level of realism. I'd much rather you took your custom elsewhere then bleated in the comments section.

I welcome your response.

This scenario is made to be as realistic as the game allows. If the requirements are too much or the reskins too many, fine. There are so many other scenarios on the workshop and elsewhere that can be downloaded and played. Maybe not to the same standard, but, it will still be a decent drive from Preston to Carlisle. This scenario isn't forced upon anyone, it is a choice for you to download, and if you don't have the items, pick another choice or wait until a sale to buy them or use one of the tricks to get around not having items. Your comment makes so many flawed assumptions and fails to see the point of this scenario; to be enjoyed by those that can. I am one of many choices out there.

Fourthly, reskins are these to make the whole thing more realistic. An ICS390 charging along the WCML with some SWT 450 and some Central Trains 170 representing TransPennine Express services while NR trains are of green trucks and old BR Blue 37s while Colas services are operated by non-Colas stock? That's not any level of realism, it's rubbish. The Virgin 390 reskin is as per real life, the FTPEx 350 and 185 (yes it's represented by a 170, but that's the best that can be done), the DRS 37s are as per real life, the Network Rail IOA wagons are as per real life and the Colas 70 is as per real life. They are not included out of spite, just realism.

Firstly, I do not assume that everyone owns all the DLC; I make scenarios for people who do own all the DLC. There are plenty of other WCML scenarios that do have so many requirements. Take this analogy: not everyone wants to or can buy an expensive smartphone, yet people do because they tend to be the best on the market (excluding Apple). This doesn't mean that the compaines should stop making these smartphones just because some people can't afford it.
Secondly, there are only 6 loco requirements. And 5 routes.
Thirdly, your assertion that no-one has played it cannot be backed up. And I'm not complaining about the lack of comments.
Fairrosamund Jun 8, 2016 @ 7:38am
When you make a scenario you must assume that that everyone owns a vast ammount of loco DLC's.The eight loco's required to play this scenario would cost a small fortune. So maybe this is the reason why no one has played it yet?.......and that is ignoring the seven "reskins" that are also required.
