where is the WOTC mod ?

i seem to have an issue were some of the textures on the odst and millitary helemts wont load they look weird shiny purple and silver. on the visors and helmet attachments mostly.

@Baron Samedi although it was not explicitly stated, I recall seeing somewhere that those pilots/troopers boarding the corvette, despite using similar models to the Marines in the last mission, were actually supposed to be part of the UNSC Air Force, which had previously made a very minor appearance in ODST in the form of attack drones. This adds up, because the role of the UNSCAF in the lore is vaguely described as air and space planetary defense, and since the Sabre is a surface-launched interceptor while the UNSC Navy uses the larger ship-launched Longsword, it would make the most sense.

@G3rman Marines of Pillar of Autumn. That one was obvious, but I was wondering, how about the ones that was on that mission with the Sabre fighters? Those troopers that followed you on that Covenant ship after the space fighter segment? Were those Marines or Army troopers?

@Cheeky Rubber, Marines do show up at the end to protect PoA shipyard and Keyes, they have the full helmet visor.

Marines do not show up in Halo: Reach, the soldiers defending Reach are part of a regular planet-based military. In files and dialogue they are just referred to as "Troopers"

It's not the exact same mod but it basically does the same thing.

A lot of the textures for the helmets are missing and replaced by a light blue, at first i thought it was just the visor color but after trying to change it, and looking at other details, a lot of it is the same color. I have all the other required mods, not sure whats goin on

is it just my version of this mod or do the skins like pixelated like hell?

I have been having problems with the lighting on the marine and odst trooper legs, torso, and arms, such that when looking at the back of my soldier his/her clothes get so bright they look white. Any tips on how to fix this?

Very nice on papaer but why in the fuck are most armor parts white when viewing from behing the soldier? Literally every color turns snow white. It's riddiculously ugly.

It works, it's just all the visors are bright orange.

You can't even use the mod without it since that mod is required so no.

Has anyone tried this without the Mjolnir mod? Trying to keep unwanted cosmetics down and that mod comes with a bunch of conflicts I'd rather not deal with.

as long as you have https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1235801965 you can use this mod just fine with out it being updated to WOTC

heres to hoping this one will be updated to WOTC. also, one thing i noticed bout this armor set in legacy was the armor coloration. It was oddly too shiny in the legs and the back of the set. The color was so off that it kinda hurt my eyes to look at. but other than that, its a wholesome mod that makes the odst's look so full. and i love it.

It may be a while, but the Halo Reach Mjolnir armor set created by Eternal was updated (relatively) recently, so hopefully that means he'll be getting around to this set as well.

In order to port this, we need to port the Mjolnir Armour Variants mod since it is a dependency. Saddly the author of the Mjolnir mod does not seem to be responding for permissions to port his mod.

I believe he knows how to port them if thats what you asking, when he puts up the Marines or ODST packs at the later date, maybe you can ask him to port over the Spartan armor too if he has the time. I think he will go through them at his own time though.

Is he able to also do Halo Reach: MJOLNIR Spartan Armor Variants?? That is one of the best Halo armor mods.
