Mod sadly doesn't work for me

Alefax said "If you wanted to edit the mod itself you can go to "Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\228380\688260984\data\property\career\ai_names.txt" and do it from there" I did that, It opened where I can Edit, I edited the names, but When I go into the game my names are not there. When I go back to the file my names are still there. The Mod is enabled. What do I do to get it to sync with my game?

Just so you know, you can have more than 24 names if you want to. In my mod I currently have 40 names and it will choose than randomly and work just fine.

I am so proud of myself, I reprogrammed you mod and made it so they have the names of the 2016 F1 drivers.

Haha, I used a name generator for many names. Some of the names it generated were utter crap.
I just wanted names from all over the world. Adding a little variety.
Other names are not randomly generated.
One of the names is from a teacher I didn't like, but the name stuck with me.
One of the surnames is mine.
One entire name is just a video game character.
The most genious game dev also makes an appearance.
And one name is a combination of a famous video game protagonist and one of his creators.

I just wanted to make life easier for some people and provided a list of driver names.
