It says the mod isn't compatible with hearthfire DLC. Is that still the case?

I love the home. Everything you need in one cozy space. My only grumble is the fast travel landing spot is a real pain if you fast travel there with a horse. IMO the landing spot should be at the top of the stairway on that deck instead of in front of the door. I knocked my horse off there 2x already and they get expensive to replace.

This is a mod i legitimately enjoy. It's perfect for any character you're playing as, whilst not being massive like a lot of mods. It's just simple and small. I hope you, eventually, return and update this to work with Hearthfire.
WolfCat Mar 27, 2017 @ 1:43pm
I love this mod. Had it downloaded before got all the added DLC's. I sure hope you can get this to work with Hearthfire DLC.
WolfCat Mar 25, 2017 @ 3:08pm
I have been away from the game for awhile. Is this mod compatible with Hearthfire dlc yet?
Hhexxer Mar 18, 2017 @ 1:53pm
the mannequin got up, looked at me, then started trying to kill me. i need to remove some other mods apparently.
CastawayGaming Dec 15, 2016 @ 6:33pm
Hey Toothcutter, I want to start off by saying this is an AMAZING mod! You did a really great job on it. I just have one concern: I have another mod downloaded callled Amazing Follower Tweaks which gives you a spell called Bless Home which allows you to move your family into the house. I tried using it, and a message appeared in the top left corner of my screen saying 'This is not one of my homes...' Is there anyway that you can make it so that I can move in here? No rush, and thanks in advance
arathiaes Feb 20, 2016 @ 8:32am
Wish I could use this mod. I marked it favorite so I can download it if it ever becomes Hearathfire DLC compatable.
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 20, 2016 @ 5:19am
Hey evinmeer, Cheers! Allthough I do need to spend some time fixing all the issues...but manequins are just a nightmare! Happy gaming.
Evinmeer Feb 10, 2016 @ 6:56pm
I love this mod SO much! Even when the manakins in the bedroom eat my armor, or the weapons cases decide to spit out my favorite daggers all over the floor, I just can't bring myself to give up Ravens Loft as my character's home. It's just so fricken perfect - all the crafting stations in one room (plus storage!); the darling little kitchen; the overflowing pantry; and of course, the instant access to the Thieves Guild (thank the gods for that - I always hated having to load into and then through Riften, it seemed like SUCH a time waster)... simply put, there just isn't another mod house out there that I can honestly say is better than Ravens Loft.
Flowerfire Feb 4, 2016 @ 3:34am
Hi Toothcutter, thanks. i removed all my mods and now it seems much better, dont know if I'll bring any back now, though i did love Ravensloft, its a great mod.
arathiaes Feb 3, 2016 @ 10:22am
Ravenloft was one of my favorites. It was a tough mod.
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 2, 2016 @ 6:55pm
Hey Flowerfire, this Mod shouldn't produce lag. Did you get your problem solved?
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 2, 2016 @ 6:50pm
Hi Arathiaes, no, but I remember Ravensloft...campaigned out of that city for at least three years! Thanks for reminding me of it!
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 2, 2016 @ 6:49pm
Hi Metalhead...did you get them working? Could be your mod load sequence.
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 2, 2016 @ 6:47pm
Hi Kalona, yes...I am aware of the issue. I will try to correct it as soon as I can. Thanks for the heads up.
Flowerfire Jan 31, 2016 @ 12:48pm
My game has only just started to go laggy and I have hearthfire but I had this for ages and no probs anyway I'm going to remove this mod for now to see if that is the problem
arathiaes Jan 28, 2016 @ 11:54am
Was this modeled after the D&D Mod - Ravenloft?
metalhead4x4 Jan 15, 2016 @ 6:24pm
Hmm Steam isn't loading my subscribed mods. Been trying all night. Turning game off and back on, reloading. Still no subscriptions loading from steam.
RavenantFlock Feb 28, 2015 @ 9:00pm
i'v com across a slight issue. this mod make's the wrists & ankles disappear, when not wearing the the gloves & boots... for nightingale armor in general, not just raven.
RavenantFlock Feb 15, 2015 @ 11:15pm
i have 2 bosmer characters already, one half breton, but i could go for a 3rd.
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 15, 2015 @ 7:12pm
She is a woodelf sneakster all the way! Keep trying to fix the dam wall, no matter what I do I cannot seem to get it replaced.
RavenantFlock Feb 15, 2015 @ 6:39pm
by the way... a portion of the wall is missing in the bedroom. and where's the bathroom? can't find it.
RavenantFlock Feb 15, 2015 @ 6:34pm
i'm having technical issues with nexus, so this mod check will require turning the game on & off. i'm thinking it's my additional morrowind mods though. a few are in haalmarch. also, what's raven's race, or have you thought of one yet? i'm always making characters with that name & i'd like to make one that better fit's the RP of this house. judging from a few remarks in the note, i'm guessing she's not a nord, nor stormcloak friendly. is she imperial or an elf of some kind?
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 15, 2015 @ 10:31am
Do you use the Nexus Mod Manager? What I would do is park your character outside the structure that has the float elevator and make a new save. Then log out and shut off all of your house mods. Then log back on and check the elevator to make sure it is working. That will tell you if it is a house mod. Then log out and turn on one house mod and recheck the elevator. Make sure you use the same start ouside the building (cell). If you save in front of the elevator the cell may not update, so you have to be outside and re-enter each time. Do this for each house mod until you find the one that is affecting the elevator. This is a pain in the butt, nexus mod manager can make it easier to turn mods on and off, but you can do it through the start screen as well. Good luck!

*concerned
RavenantFlock Feb 14, 2015 @ 5:09pm
it has to be a house mod. i have some other house mods on, mostly dunmer homes.. like tel yagrum, ebonheart, remus & for gnisis. also the morrowind boarder trading shack. not sure what happened to the AAWhiterun Manor2 but who owned it must have shut off they're account. everything's working again, but now i'm dependent on the raven home till i figure the root of the issue. well, that's skyrim modding for you. long as my quests work, that's all i'm really concairned about.
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 14, 2015 @ 10:07am
Hey ravenwolf2, my best guess is that some other mod is causing the conflict as I can't seem to replicate your problem in my game.
RavenantFlock Feb 13, 2015 @ 9:10pm
i just turned this mod back on after the AAWhiterunManor2 got shut off & the floatevator's working again. in fact, it wouldn't work without this mod for some resin. not sure what other mod i have on to cause the dependency of this one for these functions to run, but i do have other house mods active.
RavenantFlock Feb 12, 2015 @ 2:49pm
oh, ok. i was looking in the misc section, where the armor & bow are. my steel section is so full from other mods, i must have just missed it. like the TG enterance by the way. make's it easier to discover riften.
Toothcutter  [author] Feb 11, 2015 @ 11:25pm
Hey ravenwolf2, thanks for the heads up. The raven blade is craftable...should be under steel crafting.
RavenantFlock Feb 11, 2015 @ 1:42pm
found a couple annoying bugs so far. the magic tel vanni elevator from the dragonbron DLC doesn't work, & the game crash's whenever i try entering breeze home. nothing for dire alarming yet though. also, can you make the raven swords craftable?
mikey8432 Feb 5, 2015 @ 7:15am
@lore no offence but you're missing out on soo much without the DLC's their well worth buying for the hours off fun you'll almost guarranteed to have not to mention some off the epic dungeon mods on steam.. but it's up to you :)
Boba Fett Jan 31, 2015 @ 7:40am
@Miltonius I feel your pain, Milt. I just recently put some money into my account and if you would like me to gift you Hearthfire, it would be a pleasure. I finally folded and bought the DLC's even though I did not want them.
So message me if you want it for free. ^.^ I'm more than willing to help you out.
Toothcutter  [author] Jan 29, 2015 @ 6:09pm
Hey Miltonius, open your start button on your computer, and under the "search programs and files" type "ravensloft" and hit enter. You should find it there...just delete it. If you have more than one, delete all the ravensloft files and you should be good to go. Good luck, and let me know if you have any problems.
Miltonius Jan 29, 2015 @ 1:26pm
Tooth I seem to be having a problem.. The same one as Lore actually... My Skyrim crashes on startup. When I run TESVedit it stops at Ravensloft.esp and says error. I have completely uninstalled your mod and unsubscirbed from it, yet for some reason my skyrim still keeps crashing, so I ran tesVedit again and once again it says Ravensloft.esp requires master file Hearthfire. I don't even have Ravensloft.esp anymore I completely removed it, can you try to help me? I can't get rid of your mod completely for some reason.
dolphinsong43 Jan 11, 2015 @ 8:55pm
Hey. I really like this home. It's very cool and I LOVE the views. Just a couple of things to mention. When I first walked in the door (zoned), the whole frint entrance area was gone and my character and her two companions were in some water in a cave and we had to jump a few times to reach the stairs to go in. At first I thought this was part of the mod, but when I went back towards the door later, I saw that there was a whole beautiful entrance area with a statue and all that wasn't there before.

Second thing, my followers just stand around when they should be relaxing and doing things on their own. Did you put in place markers for followers to be doing things?

Just my two cents. I think this home has a lot of possibility and would like to see it do well.

Peace
Boba Fett Jan 11, 2015 @ 8:50am
Alright Tooth, thank you for responding none the less, I appreciate what you could do.
Toothcutter  [author] Jan 10, 2015 @ 9:41pm
Hey Lore, I just checked the file and there is nothing in Ravensloft from any of the DLC's, so I am not sure why you are getting that message and crashing. I really wish I could be of more assistance, but I hope you can figure it out. I will keep thinking about it from my end and let you know if I come up with something.
dolphinsong43 Jan 10, 2015 @ 9:20pm
okees
Toothcutter  [author] Jan 10, 2015 @ 9:19pm
Just family, I believe....I am checking on it, go look at my last response to you on summers home...that might help.
dolphinsong43 Jan 10, 2015 @ 9:18pm
So when you say this is not compatible with Hearthfire, do you mean that if I hae all DLC's including Hearthfire, I can't use this mod? Or do you mean I just can't move a family in here?
Toothcutter  [author] Jan 10, 2015 @ 9:10pm
Hey Lore...sorry...as modders, the vanilla items available are not very exciting. The DLC's have a much broader scope of items to choose from, and allow for more creative options...which make it fun for modders. Hearthfire is also a dirt cheap DLC...like $5.00 U.S. I will however look at the file and see what material is from the DLC. This was my first published mod, and I haven't messed with it much, and was pre DLC. It may be a couple small substitutions will get it back working for you...I will check it out.
Boba Fett Jan 10, 2015 @ 1:34pm
I've used a less updated version of this mod on a different PC, but I recently got a new one and I am now a little bummed out due to the fact that my Skyrim is crashing because the mod is saying I need Hearthfire. I have no intention of buying any of the DLC's... Don't know if it is no longer compatible with the regular game and only that or you must have Hearthfire.
Toothcutter  [author] Jan 7, 2015 @ 11:20pm
Hey A_Fuhrmann, yeah...I can't seem to pin it down. I suspect it has something to do with one of the DLC's, but have no way to confirm it.
Andy Jan 7, 2015 @ 10:54am
Ok, its not fixed, but this is a very small cosmetic prob (on my system) in a very good mod, wich cant me stop to use it. ;=)
Toothcutter  [author] Jan 6, 2015 @ 6:59pm
Hey A_Fuhrmann, OK...just fixed it again. Run your launcher, but give it a minute or two before you hit the PLAY button. That should let the mod update, then open the game and take a look and let me know if that fixed it or not.
Toothcutter  [author] Jan 6, 2015 @ 6:00pm
Hey A_Fuhrmann, I keep fixing that dam wall and republishing it, and it keeps going away. I may have to change that back wall all together.
Andy Jan 6, 2015 @ 12:09pm
Hey Toothcutter,
Very nice Mod, i like this house very much. But i have a little (graphic) problem with it. In the bedroom i cant see the wall on the right side complete, its only the backround. i saw on your screenshots, there has to be a stone wall wich is missing in my game. Have u an idear? I use hearthfire and many other mods, wiches run perfectly. BUT i dont desubscribe it, just a question how it comes. ;=)
Toothcutter  [author] Jan 4, 2015 @ 12:42pm
Hey evinmeer, Cheers! Glad it's useful for you.
